Joany's Sidekicks — Restaurant in Town of Knight

For a hole in the wall bar/restaurant combo in the middle of damn near no where we were not expecting anything special Boy were we wrong! This is by far the best prime rib I have been served this side of the Mississippi, and hands down puts major steak houses known for their prime rib to the test. #Dinnersdriveinsanddives should pay them a visit and make them famous. The white clam sauce angel hair pasta was mouthwatering. The homemade spinach gnocchi with Alfredo puts olive garden to shame. Salad is chopped fresh and crisp as could be. Peppers snapped like they just came off the vine. The soup had amazing flavor. We opted for a more expensive dinner plate which is why our price is as high on th Google rating but don't let the $$$ next to this review spook you. We wanted left overs. We got them. Oh and look at how cute this shaken margarita...

Stopped here for a drink, the bartender was very attentive. Decided to stay and eat, we seated our shelves with our beverages, server finally came to take our order, we had to ask 3 different times for silverware to eat our salads from the salad bar. 8 people in our party, 2 people got their order within 30 minutes, 3 of us got ours an hour later, while 2 got there's 10 minutes later, the last order arrived after we asked for our bill. The waitress never came to our table to ask if we needed water or any beverage. 2 of us got the ravioli which was undercooked. 2 have the tuna steaks which was very over cooked, 1 had the bluegill dinner which was like fish jerky. Was told that 2 of the cooks both walked out, later to find out that the owner let them go. Have stopped her before for drinks and had an amazing time. Sadly we will never stop back...

Oct 14 2022 Went for breakfast and the place had about 4 vehicles in the parking lot so it was a good sign. Time was about 9:20am ,shortly after opening up.

Was a nice surprise because it’s out in the middle of the northern forests. Biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs was one breakfast and the other was Country Fried Steak with over easy eggs and hash browns.

Both were excellent breakfast portions and the taste was on point.

Definitely recommend for breakfast

We had a couple of Bloody Marys which were great as well

The bonus was we got to meet the owner Joany and she prepared our wonderful breakfast
