All City Grill — Restaurant in Town of La Grange

My family and I visited this establishment approximately five times and consistently enjoyed the food and service. The waitresses were particularly cordial. However, during our last visit in November, I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken, which was presented nicely. Unfortunately, one of the chicken pieces had an unusual taste, although I did not think much of it at the time. After returning home, I experienced stomach discomfort, which I initially attributed to heartburn. Nevertheless, two to three hours later, I was still experiencing pain and eventually had to induce vomiting, at which point I realized I had contracted food poisoning. Consequently, I was unable to sleep that night due to persistent vomiting and only managed to fall asleep around 6 am. I was thoroughly disappointed, exhausted, and irate simultaneously. Store front sports bar. 2 huge steps above your usual bar and grill menu. Whomever wrote and executed this array of tasty treats is excellent. Had the appetizer 'Pork stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon topped with teriyaki glaze' fabulous. Sliders for our meal, Philly's with caramelized onion, garlic mayo, Swiss ( or maybe provolone) a a little slice of fresh avocado. Delicious. Had a house signature giant sweet pretzel for desert, a bit much for only 2 people to share, better for 3 or 4. Oh!!! and the beer list has 24 taps, local to NY state. Not just IPA'S.... So, we were hoping this would be a good spot to make a steady and regular pitstop on trips upstate to visit family. Food is fine with outdoor seating so great for bringing the dog. Server decided to help herself to QuickDraw winnings (should have been $33 and she gave us back $9) tonight with no receipt. Did not confront her; she must really need it, but can’t in good conscience give this place anymore...
