We stopped by the restaurant to have drinks and dinner with friends that were camping. The restaurant was not busy at all. Service was quick at the bar. Waitstaff was friendly. Bartender was friendly but seemed inexperienced. She didn’t know how to make a martini. Counters, tables, and glassware were clean. The room temperature was cool indoors. Food was hot from the buffet but was not good. The gravy ladle for the chicken gravy was stuck under a layer of gravy skin, to the point the ladle was pulling the whole top with it. We didn’t think the buffet was tended to. Also, heads up, you will need to put on a pair of gloves when you serve yourself from the buffet. Prime rib was cold sitting under a heat light and was definitely still mooing. The whole building could use a bit of fixing and maintenance. The bathrooms need a good deep clean! I would say the place is decorated very “unique” with the dolls and silk flowers everywhere. There is a bakers case that has already made cookies and desserts. If you are camping, it’s probably an okay place to stop. I definitely would not go out of my way to go back.

Went for a warm breakfast this winter per recommendation, and it was wonderful. The woman serving was very welcoming and attentive. Large variety of menu and everything at our table was fresh and delicious. Old family restaurant feel, decorated beautifully for each coming holiday. Will be back!

Food was phenomenal! Great service, fantastic prices. I find this place to be an absolute bargain for the cost.

Oh my gosh !!!! People you have to stop by and try this buffet. It is so reasonable priced and the food is absolutely delicious. We've gone there the last 2 Friday nights now. The Lemon Pepper fried fish is finger licking good. The fried shrimp, the Pollock, the dressing, chicken, green beans were so good. Tonight they had homemade Clam Chowder and Creme of Asparagus soups. Devine !!!Everything I tried I loved. I was so ready to dig in and eat I forgot to take a couple pictures. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Every single person working in there treats you like they've known you their whole life. Damien a young man in high school that was our server last Friday. Such a friendly young man. Very well mannered and a great sense of humor. Tonight when we went in he was working in the kitchen. When he brought a tray of hot food out he spotted us and made a point to come over and say hello. Stop by and try the buffet. You're guaranteed to leave with a very full tummy. Oh they also have a wide variety of home baked desserts. The 7 Layer bars are some of the best bars I've ever eaten and I'm 66 years old. If you stop by tell Bill (the owner/chef) Carol, from Florida, said...

Have been coming here on occasion for some 40+ years. Had a bad experience two years back (our last visit before tonight), with sparse, cold food on the Saturday night buffet. Decided to try them tonight for their fish fry as we were camping next door. We were not disappointed! Food was good, with the expected variety we were used to. Waitress staff was slim (only two, one of which was also bartending), but other than waiting & having to request water a 2nd time, meal was great. Fish was flaky & not greasy. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, was finding a couple cups used for soup had dried foodstuffs on them. That should be looked into. We will be...
