Bear Lake Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Town of Lakeland

Been a huge fan and a web customer of this craft roastery for several months. Their Midnight Stargazer is one of the best espresso roasts we’ve had in a long time. Was driving thru Barronett the other day and decided to stop in at their shoppe. Gabe, the owner and chief roaster, was in and introduced himself to us. Had a delightful and insightful conversation with him about his coffees, the business and the shoppe. He couldn’t have been more gracious. Carmen, our barista, provided us a pour-over and a few other samples - all very tasty. Ended up buying some 13 lbs of their specialty roasts. Looking forward to trying each one.

It's slow to get food on a busy holiday weekend which is understandable. They also ran out of bacon for one sandwich and did not include spinach on the spinach breakfast sandwich we got. I saw someone else get the same sandwich and it was full of spinach. Didn't want to wait another 20 min so I just ate the egg & cheese sandwich which was delicious. Straight coffee and baked goods are delicious. Matcha is good. Mocha is not good (not hot, no espresso flavor- tasted like mild chocolate milk). Service is very friendly....
