We arrived at Boston Hotel right before it became busy. Hostess seated us immediately and let us choose the table. Our server was friendly and prompt. Cocktails were ordered. Bloody Mary for my husband and I chose the ice cold blue moon. My husband said it was the worse bloody mary he ever had. Lobster dainties slit broiled were ordered for the appetizer and were delicious. It was a long wait for the kitchen to have our entree ready. My husband ordered the steak medium. It was delivered rare. My crab meal was delicious and cooked to perfection. The home made French fries were excellent. We ordered 2 cheese cake with cherries to take home. Home made! And did not disappoint. Crab was not served with lemon only butter and no wet towlets but enough napkins were provided. The cost of the crab entree was excellent and I received huge claws and enough to bring a few home.

Oysters, clams, scallops…oh my! This was our first visit to the Boston Hotel and we were thoroughly impressed! The seafood was beyond fresh and amazing. I recommend the seafood platter to try some of everything! The scallops were the number one choice for all of us. Definitely recommend the raw oysters if you are into that …very fresh and perfectly prepared. The steamed clams and stuffed banana peppers were also a hit. Some of my family had the NY Strip and one had the prime rib - both were tender and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they ran out of snow crab legs…but just gives us a reason to visit again! One tip…it is a cash only restaurant but they do have an ATM there.

I've been here a few times previously during weekday a few years ago and the food was incredible. Went on Friday night & was very disappointed. Dozen steamed clams were very gritty & stringy. Needed a more thorough rinsing. We both ordered the ribeye med-rare (same as previous trips). My friend's was cooked unevenly. Outer portion was cooked correctly but middle was a different temp and very rare, almost cold. My ribeye was cooked more evenly but more towards medium. It was very fatty & it needed to be rendered more. It was a bit tough too. My jaw got a workout. Maybe it was an off night but disappointed after spending $90 (cash only).

If I'm being honest this looked like a place I'd usually drive right past. I'm not a snob, but let's just say I've had enough experiences over the years and leave it at that... But as luck would have it we we're taking my cousin to the Buffalo airport and she has a tradition of stopping here if they're open so we cautiously stopped. When we walked in there were only a couple of non bar customers and I thought my fears would play out but I gambled and ordered the beef on weck. I can honestly say it was the best I've ever eaten! The roll was soft but held up. The inside was packed full of flavorful tender beef. I would change anything about it. My husband ordered the pork chop dinner with salt potatoes. When I tell you these 2 pork chops were huge I mean they were HUGE. We BOTH ate his leftovers for dinner the next night they were so big. And yes I know, size isn't everything so let me tell you they were also juicy and cooked to perfection! He also loved the salt potatoes. Now to our waitress...she was attentive without hovering. We never lacked for anything; you can't ask for more than that! By the way, tables were nearly full when we left. The men's bathroom was a teenage boys dream bedroom (no I didn't go in there, those were my husbands words). The women's was clean. My only off-putting comment would be the dust and cobwebs hanging from the vent near our table, but I also know how quickly those appear even in our own homes. Overall I would definitely recommend you not judge this book by it's cover and check...

Sat after waiting 5 mins,(party of 3) yet saw tables open and the place was NOT busy at that time. Waitress took our drink and app order fairly quick, so we thought we'd be off to a good start. Ordered 2 doz raw clams & a dozen small danties. I've never seen daintes this small before!!! Like after you peeled them, they were the size of salad shrimp! Waitress said, we gave you a few more cuz of the size...gee.. thanx. The clams were good tho. We placed our order (prior to apps)of the seafood platter, seafood Alfredo and 2 dozen steamed clams. After awhile, we received the pasta and the platter. Was told that the clams would be a bit. Which would have been nice to know prior to ordering them! The pasta was ok...nothing to write home about. The broiled seafood platter was SUB PAR at best!! Clams casino was good, the scampi was good, baked potato was ok, the fish was over cooked (dried out) and the lobster tail was the size of maybe 3-4 inches long. (Must have been the daintes mother!) And that was very dried out. The waitress came back after we were half done and said clams were still backed up. Our person didn't get dinner til we were DONE!! Steamed clams should've been done long before our dinners even made it out!! This restaurant was NOT that busy! Maybe they have 2 kids working the kitchen?? Service wasn't great. She barely came by to ask if we needed anything or to ask how our dinners were. Not sure I'd go back. Which is sad, because this was a great place to grab daintes, clams and a few beers. Wish I...

Boston Hotel Steak and Crab: A Solid Main Dish, but Lacking Finesse We recently dined at Boston Hotel Steak and Crab and tried their NY Strip. The steak was, without a doubt, the highlight of the meal. Tender, perfectly cooked to our order, and bursting with flavor, it showcased the quality and expertise one expects from a steakhouse. The main course did not disappoint. However, the accompanying sides fell short of expectations. While they were adequate, they lacked creativity and seasoning, failing to add anything memorable to the plate. For a meal centered around a premium steak, the sides should complement and elevate the dish, but here they felt uninspired. The roll, another small but significant detail, was also disappointing. Not only was it not homemade, but it wasn’t even served warm, which would have made a world of difference. Fresh, warm bread can set the tone for the meal, and its absence was noticeable. Service-wise, we had no complaints, but it wasn’t particularly noteworthy either. The staff was polite and efficient, but there were no standout moments to make the experience feel more special or personalized. In summary, Boston Hotel Steak and Crab excels in delivering a well-prepared steak but misses the mark on the supporting elements. For a restaurant of this caliber, attention to detail—particularly with sides, bread, and service—could transform the meal into a truly...
