I've been debating posting these expierences. Two incidents, first one I thought was a fluke. When my girlfriend and I were sat outside and we waited 2 hours for two burgers and two beers. I didn't make much of a fuss about it because I understand as I am in the food industry and have worked with many Chef's.

But then the second time I took out of town family here. A party of 8. I figured we would have to wait 15 minutes but instead were sat right away. Then we just sat at our table for 25 minutes before getting waters, then another 20 minutes for our drink orders and to get our food orders in. Then an hour to get our food. (I wouldn't paitently wait an hour for food unless it's cooked by Wolfgang Puk himself). By the time we were done eating my family had to leave.

In the midst of this people were sat and greeted by the owner/Chef (if that's what you want to call a Chef...) Jay as friends and we're promptly taken care of and their food was out before ours.

This happening a second time proves to me that Jay does not care about the quality of service he is providing in his restaurant and is more concerned on how he looks towards his friends. I will never eat here again and will never recommend this place to a single person, in fact I will disuade anyone who suggest it via my mother's tears wondering why we are being so rudely ignored.

I even went to ask Jay persinally to level with me about how much longer or if it's just a bad time and I should go somewhere else. He then proceeded to brush it off, not apologize and tell me about 10 more minutes and can barely look at me.

Jay, you are not a Chef, and $13 off a bill for 8 people for 2hrs waisted, cold burnt sweet potato fries, underdone french fries, cold fried fish on a hot plate (nice one...), and forgotten condiments proves my statement more than any of my previous words.

Please figure it out, or...

Let me start out with the food is absolutely delicious! For appetizers we ordered cheese quesadilla, Boneless buffalo wings and spinach cheese dip with crispy chips, and an order of perfectly fried onion rings! NO oil dripping off, just the best crunch! Needless to say we cleared these plates in 3mins!!! Now on to entrees! We all ordered burgers with different toppings and sides and each one was cooked precisely how we each asked! All our orders were right on point even with our requested adjustments! This is something that doesn't happen often in the food industry, which is a crime! This restuarant makes you feel you went to your families house for dinner, minus the arguments! Im proud to review this establishment that takes real pride in not only their food but their employees as well! Our waitress was a delight! Her name was Renee aka Trixie! She made us feel at home with her amazing personality! She had us laughing and joking around the whole time! Then the owner Jay even came over to ask if we needed anything and if everything was good and all I could say was "OMGAWD, IT'S DELISH"! So that was our theme of the night because everything was delish! This man Jay was a perfect gentlemen and even made us a special hot brownie icecream sundae topped with all kinds of goodies! He went out of his way to make us comfortable! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! As long as they keep this up, you can guarantee I'll be there eating!!! Thank you Crossroads, esp Jay and Renee! Keep it up, you guys are rockstars of food in my book!!! P.s. I'd like to add pictures of our fantastic food but we couldn't wait! There's always next time! But I did get a pic of the hot and gooey chocolate brownie ice cream goodness that Jay...

If I could give 0 stars I would because if you ask me they need to fire the front help of this restaurant and re-hire new help. I took my family here thinking it would be a fun family place as it has been in the past. However, tonight was terrible. It started with the first waitress, she went to take our drink order and had no idea nor experience of any beers. Then she ran away and the bartender came. I ordered a Mai tai and the bartender came back with a whiskey sour. She even argued with me that I was wrong. Then we had our third waitress who took our food order. Now this one is where my father in law ordered a fiddlehead beer and the waitress came back with a yuenling. He said “that’s not what I ordered” and the waitress replied “yes it is” very sassy like. May I just add that the wait we had tonight was poor attitude and sassy to the PAYING CUSTOMERS! I’ve never experienced waitresses arguing with the customer continuously. And to top it off, my mother in law never received her dinner even after we all finished ours. Being a salad, we expected it to come out with the rest of our food. It never did. Then the waitress said she would take the salad off of our bill and our drinks. Well, that never happened either. They lied to us and never did what she said and we had to pay for it all. So let’s just say we won’t come to a place with terrible service again. It’s sad because the...

I came here last weekend for the first time. I was not impressed. When we first arrived, we waited a few minutes before the hostess sat us at table 1. ( I’ll explain how I know this below) We waited for probably 15 minutes before a waitress asked us what drinks we wanted. 10-15 minutes later our drinks came and the waitress mentioned to another waitress, “ I just gave your table one drinks.” As someone who worked in a restaurant before, I looked to see if our table was numbered and guess what..we were table 1. We waited 30 minutes before someone not our waitress took our order, despite our supposed waitress walking by several times. I made a point to see if there cameras in hopes management would look back and see our experience. A good 20 minutes if not longer later , our food came. Just an awful experience and it’s upsetting because I heard this was a great place. Our bench and floor area were not cleaned and we didn’t notice until we sat down.

I found the Crossroads Bar and Grill because it was close to my room at Rogue Harbor Inn. I was greeted and seated quickly, the wait staff recommended a few things and I ultimately chose the special. It was Butternut squash raviolis with candied pecans, feta, and a brown butter sauce. It came with a side salad. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay, and the salad came quickly. It was fresh and crispy, the house Dill vinigarette was excellent, just the right amount of sweet and sour. Then the ravioli we're served, perfectly done pasta, great tasting filling with butternut squash and sage. The feta cheese added a salty taste and the brown butter was perfection. The host made sure I knew where to get a few items I needed for my stay and made sure I got my check quickly. Great experience for me !

I discovered this place during a sight seeing detour and stopped in for lunch. There was plenty of parking and seating available though it seemed to get busier as the afternoon rolled on. The fried pickles were a good appetizer and the Irish fries would also be a good choice. The haddock was a large piece, however it wasn't served with lemon slices; I didn't ask for them either. The coleslaw was crunchy and flavorful; I prefer mine creamy but I wasn't disappointed. The wooden booths can become uncomfortable after a while. Though there were a couple large groups the noise level was low enough to have a conversation with the person across from me. Our server was excellent and made me feel welcomed while engaging me with conversation. I would definitely go again if I'm in the area.
