We recently tried Jamrock and were seriously impressed! We ordered the jerk patties and jerk chicken with peas and rice, cabbage, and extra gravy—and they delivered on every front. The jerk chicken was packed with flavor, just the right hint of spice without overpowering the dish. It was tender and well-cooked, and the extra gravy added that perfect, savory finishing touch. The peas and rice were plentiful and paired beautifully with the chicken, while the cabbage added a nice balance to the meal. The jerk patties were another highlight—spicy, with a wonderfully soft crust. We only wish they had a bit more filling because they were so good, but even as-is, they were absolutely delicious.

We got the jerk chicken and curry goat. I loved the curry spice/flavor, but the plantains it came with were inedibly rubbery. The chicken was dry and not as spicy as jerk usually is. We also got a beef patty and chicken patty. Neither were flaky as described, and the chicken one was doughy and undercooked. The girls working the front counter/phones seem confused. There's definitely room for improvement, although the prices are good and more fair than the place in Watertown. I'll wait to try them again at a later date and see if they've ironed out the details.

We ordered take-out. My husband and I ordered the Jerk Chicken and the Stew Chicken. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. This was our first time trying Jamaican food and it did not disappoint! We are definitely eating here again:)

This is only constructive criticism because I never want to take away from a business, but there are some things that I noticed that was very displeasing for my family and I. This was below my standards for Jamaican food. I wasn’t able to finish my food because it was not good at all. The owner is a very nice lady, however, that doesn’t take away from my bad experience. I know that this is a new restaurant and there are always some kinks to work out in the beginning. #1: The rice was not cooked, it was still crunchy and not from being burnt or anything, it was just not cooked. #2: The jerk chicken and the brown stew chicken were dry, I’m not sure if we were served old food. But it was dry and we had to throw it all away. If the food gets better we might return but as of now, no we will not...

From the moment I walked into this Jamaican gem, I was greeted with warm hospitality. Let’s talk about the food, absolutely incredible. I ordered the jerk chicken, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat, smoky from the grill, and unbelievably tender. To top it off, the staff made me feel like family. Attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about the food and culture they represent. If you're craving bold flavors, soulful cooking, and a truly welcoming experience, this Jam-Rock restaurant is the place to go. I’ll definitely be...
