John Hoover Inn — Restaurant in Town of Le Ray

This place surprised me. Has a outside front area where you can hangout, then an inside bar and live music area then a separate area with a tv, pool 🎱, darts 🎯 and shuffleboard. Not sure if they play live music everyday but the artists played some rock and country with their own kick. Also has a touch tunes so after the artists left, you could play your own music through it. The drinks were very well priced, not sure if that's the normal for that area, but compared to major city areas, they were good.

I would say my biggest wow was their pizza 🍕👌! For someone who loves pizza, their pizza was excellent, and hands-down better than a lot of pizzerias and chain restaurants 🙌 . We ordered one 16" pepperoni pie, and then a second 16" pie with pepperoni and pineapple. The crust was soft, crispy and edible. Toppings were just the right amount and the pineapples weren't too big and chunky making it fall off the pizza. Pizza was super hot so it took a minute before we could actually indulge. The other guys seemed to love their wings and burger.

Overall, good place to hang out solo or with a group of friends with a nice calm and welcoming atmosphere that I think could cater to different types of people, whether you want to watch the game, socialize, play games, relax outside taking in fresh air, or listen to...

waited 1hr to get one pizza & 10 wings to end up with the wrong order & when i call, the owner completely lied about the mistake with proof of the receipt & picture of the pizza saying it was the wrong order & my brother in law already going to pick up his order to refuse to give me the correct pizza because i couldn’t drive 20min back there to return it when we all know they will trash it, is the worst customer service i’ve ever experienced. deff will not be coming back to an establishment that cannot just simply apologize acknowledge their mistake & how inconvenient it was that I had to wait so long to then get home and it be the wrong order, men will be like oh why didn’t you look at the order before you left? Yesterday for lunch I finally gave in and decided I would try wings at another place in the "north country". Its very hit or horrible to find edible, saucy wings up here.
