It is not often that I take the time to write a review of a restaurant, actually I’m not sure I ever have. Tonight, after a very long week, I decided to splurge and order a meal to be delivered. I saw Brian’s was part of Door Dash and thought, okay, let’s see what they have. I know many people who like Brian’s for their typical diner fair. I decided upon their pasta with Alfredo .. yum .. perfect comfort food after a long and tiring week sounded just right. The meal was delivered in a timely fashion so kudos to DoorDash and Brian’s for that. One bite and I knew something just wasn’t right; it tasted like a very watered down gravy, not like Alfredo at all. So, I thought, hey mistakes are made , it’s a Friday night , I’m going to cut them some slack and just call to see if I could get something else or maybe I was right and they accidentally put the wrong “sauce” on my pasta. It most definitely did not taste a bit like Alfredo and this Sicilian girl knows .. The girl who answered was immediately abrupt and did NOT care for the fact that I was complaining and went on to tell me , no guarantees on liking what you order.. and we’d be out of business if we refunded every time someone complained about not liking their food— which to my surprise seemed like an admission that they receive many complaints … ironic .. however, I didn’t want a refund , I was hoping she’d offer a resolution to make the customer happy. She told me I could return my “uneaten” meal and pay for something else — not , we’d be glad to exchange your meal and we are sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy it. Nope, she was crass and talked louder when I tried to speak. She was so rude, I was dumbfounded. I asked her, how can I return it uneaten ? How would I have known I didn’t like it had I not eaten done of it? And why would that have mattered anyway because she told me I could purchase another meal . I hung up and just sat here thinking , I’ve never had that kind of encounter when dissatisfied with a meal while dining out. Never. So, I thought , I’m going to call back because this just wasn’t cool and this dish is the pits — Nothing worse than looking forward to a creamy Alfredo with that nutty Parmesan flavor . Seriously , this not only wasn’t creamy there was def not even a sprinkle of Parmesan .. so awful. So , I called back and this time they handed over the call to the owner who matched the previous woman’s crassness in handling my dissatisfaction. I was the only one who ever complained about their Alfredo , he didn’t give meals out for free and basically I could pound rock salt . I am in shock that I was met with such disdain by the girl and even more astounded that an owner of an establishment would ever have spoken to a customer the way this man did to me . Never , ever again , Brian’s . Still...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Brian's USA Diner with my family, and I must say it was an awesome experience from start to finish. From the moment we entered the diner, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the staff. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure all our needs were met throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to recommend some of their best dishes.
Speaking of the food, we couldn't resist trying their highly acclaimed "Best Dam Sandwich." Let me tell you, it definitely lived up to its name! This mouthwatering creation featured the most delicious fried chicken I've ever tasted. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The flavors were well-balanced, and it was clear that great care went into crafting this culinary masterpiece.
The menu at Brian's USA Diner offered a diverse range of options, encompassing American classics and innovative twists. The dishes we saw being served to other patrons looked just as appetizing as our own, further confirming the diner's dedication to quality and attention to detail.
The ambiance of the restaurant was reminiscent of a typical American diner, complete with cozy booths and retro decor. It provided a relaxed and comfortable setting for our family meal, allowing us to enjoy our food and relish the company of one another.
Overall, our visit to Brian's USA Diner was a memorable one, thanks to the awesome food and the kindness shown...

Tonight, our server (blonde, leg tattoo) seemed rushed and as if we were a bother rather than a paying guest. While not expressly rude, her demeanor made it a difficult encounter to swallow. Everybody has a bad day, so we were willing to overlook... But then, the food came out. The fish was clearly reheated. Potatoes in a garbage plate type meal were coldish. Tried to get the server's attention, but she acknowledged us and then didn't come back until much later - to bring the check. My Wife asked for a box - but after 10 minutes one didn't come (and neither did the server.) So we paid (including the new credit card surcharge they are assessing,) and left. We'll likely be back because every other encounter we've had was GREAT, but tonight was not their brightest shining moment. Not sure what might have been going on internally - but we're hoping next time we go isn't our last. Side Note: It was uncomfortably warm in there tonight.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Even though we live and own a business right around the corner in Perry, we've never been to this place before. We recently went a handful of times and found it to be absolutely fantastic! Quality of food, time from order to delivery at the table, friendly professional staff, and modern check out. It was great! Prices are very good as well. This is our new...
