Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Lenox

Stopped into this Dunkin' to grab a drink and breakfast. This Dunkin' was just a grab and go kind of joint. A lot of cars in the drive thru today so we decided to go in to order. It also gave me a chance to check out the menu. I didn't want to be rushed while in the car while a bunch of cars were behind me in the drive thru lane.

A couple of the other Dunkins' I have been to are good size joints. This only is a grab and go joint. There aren't really any tables for you to sit it to sit and enjoy your goodies. In today's situation, we wanted to get our food and go.

There was an ordering kiosk at this location. I really didn't want to use it but there was a ton of people in line. I ordered through the kiosk even though someone finally showed up at the register. I just slowly went through all the options. Got myself a couple things and my son ordered a breakfast sammy.

It took a minute for our food to be prepared. We were also waiting with all the drive thru orders. My drink came out super fast. I had coffee at home earlier so I got a lemonade. I really wanted the mango pineapple flavoring but I didn't see it in the screen so I just went with it as it is.

Finally out food was ready and we were out of the door! I can feel the food in the bag, it was hot! My son got the turkey sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. He said it was good after he inhaled it. I got a sausage, egg and cheese wrap. It was pipping hot! I don't remember it being a small as the wrap I had the order day. The egg and the wrap itself was tiny. Other than the size, it was a good wrap. I really liked the egg and the sausage they used. I'll probably order 2 next time!

I did accidentally order hashbrowns at checkout. I went a long with it. The hashbrowns weren't the best. They had a burnt taste to them. You only get 6 in an order. I ate one and my son ate one. We threw the rest away. They were not good.

I probably won't stop at this location again for food or drinks. It's really busy and the wait time is too long. I also didn't really interacted with anyone behind the counter. Our food and drinks were good though. Off to the next...

Went through the drive through and asked for a large iced coffee black with two sugars melted. Get up to window and the sugar is not melted. Told, very rudely, by the staff they don’t do melted sugar. When I asked why they said it takes too much time. Dumbest statement I’ve ever heard. If you know how to properly melt sugar it adds 5-10 second to the entire process, yet I could have ordered a frozen mocha coffee which would take at least 30 more seconds to make than an iced coffee. If you are just lazy and don’t want to do just say so, but don’t say it takes too much time when most other items on your menu take more time to put together than an iced coffee does. I went to your establishment in Canastota NY and was greeted by a 5 minute wait at the speaker in the drive thru with only one customer ahead of me. Then once I got to the window I got hot coffee poured on my hands and a mediocre apology then had to wait another 5 minutes to get food that seemed to be made in your blender.
