Beautiful bar . Was in a travel magazine and offered 50% off cheese curds and boasted being rated the “best”. They were good not the best I’ve had , it was just a light battered pieces of cheese , not the best I’ve had. We ordered wings, they don’t come flavored , they are fried, small , very small and they bring out a caddy of Kraft dressing, bbq sauces, hot sauces , etc, it’s a nice thought of the wings have some type of flavoring and you want to dip your wings in additional sauce . The bartenders not very conversational, must be a Wisconsin things, she seemed tired and bored . We asked if there was any entertainment being the weekend and she rolled her eyes . And mumbled something . Couldn’t quite hear her . Like I said this is a gorgeous bar, the food needs help . An overrated sports bar that puts their place in a magazine to get people in .

We came in and sat in the back "Chicago Room". We ordered mostly appetizers. We came mostly for the reviews of the "giant 16oz pretzel" and the cheese curds. We also ordered mini chicken tacos and BBQ boneless wings. Kids had the mini corn dogs. The food was your basic bar food. Cheese curds were light and airy, just ok. The pretzel was good. The mini chicken tacos were the same you get in the frozen section at your grocery store. Thee boneless BBQ wings were good. My kids really did not eat their mini corn dogs. We were the only people in the place at 5pm on a Weds night. Kinda felt weird. They are closed Mon/Tues. This place is a good 15 minute drive from "downtown Wisc Dells". Mostly just a local bar with typical bar food. You're better off eating somewhere else. Not sure how this place ranks #1 on TripAdvisor.

Sorry that I read the reviews to try this place because it's a place only for locals if u want to drink cold beer. Waited 45 minutes to get our food in a place that was only 1/4 full and the owner / mgr cared more about standing around talking to a table of locals vs helping the disorganized chaos of waitress forgetting different people's orders including ours. Two waitresses expected to bartend and wait tables...one had to go back to a table and retake their order to put in again and they were there before us. A group of ladies waited more than an hour for their food. Menu is simple with appetizers, 3 types of burgers and a few othe sandwiches and pizza on the back is Friday fish specials. My wives crab cake was burnt and daughters chicken wings are what we had to wait for according to one waitress. My dinner and wives dinner was MISSING the beans, coleslaw and told waitress and still never got it. They did take off two meals but honestly the whole bill should have been free for service. Refilled waters one time when needed to be refilled more and never checked with us about the meal to see how it was. If u are in the Wisconsin dells area stay in town because they advertise best cheese curds in the dells and u will definitely get better food and service at a county fair! NOT WORTH THE DRIVE...

Beer can chicken! This place is great, food and service spot on. Unique location 10minutes off north end of the main drag, but it’s a refreshing straight drive out there on hwy 16. There are places to see off the main strip hwy 16ish, movie theater/microbrewery/and Triple Play, I would not have known (not advertised on google maps, as of my visit) so we stumbled on it, and we were starving. It had just rained so the huge outdoor tables were still wet so we ate inside. The place is very clean, the ownership got this right for sure, especially during a pandemic!! Thank you for having soap and sanitizer readily available, made my wife as a nurse for elderly people feel good eating there. The food was solid, and expedient, along with a great wait staff. We grabbed a beer can chicken to go for lunches during the week, how awesome is that. Beer can chicken at a bar restaurant in a Dell’s-like location is pretty upstanding. The place is creatively operated, clean, and solid. Lots of outdoor seating with activities/sports themed. We became fans of stopping there in future visits. ...

Triple Play is a must visit! Fresh and flavorful food and friendly quick service is what you’ll find. The cheese curds are amazing, very lightly breaded and golden on the outside, and melty on the inside. The menu says they are the world’s best cheese curds and I totally agree! The fish fry is a true standout and best in the Dells area. I had perch and also sampled the beer-battered haddock. Really good flavors with a batter that is perfectly light, providing a satisfying crunch without overpowering the delicate flavor of the fish. And an incredible homemade tartar sauce-definitely not out of a bottle. The perch came with a side of coleslaw, potato salad and baked beans. Each of the sides were flavorful and you could definitely tell all homemade - no bar food here! So much food for a very fair price. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant does Wisconsin classics right and is well...
