Have been here twice in the past few weeks...once as take-out and once dining in. The dine-in visit was awful!! The burrito I ordered was prepared/made completely wrong. When I asked the waitress if she would mind asking the kitchen to make it the way I ordered it, the waitress told me, "I could but it will probably still be wrong so you should just eat this one." That is the 1st time I have ever heard a waitress/waiter say something like that! Then, when the bill came and I asked her to remove the meal from my bill because it wasn't what I ordered and was not able to eat it, she said I would still have pay for it because I cut into it!!! So, if I wouldn't have tried it to see if I could eat it, maybe I would not have had to pay for the wrong dinner?? Ridiculous!!
The take-out was good but it took about 5-10 minutes for them to find my order because they don't have a way to separate the to-go orders(they don't take a name and/or phone number when orders are called in. So, it took about 5-10 minutes to figure out about 5-6 orders and who they belonged to. Once home, the meals were good. A couple of minor mistakes were made in preparing the meals as ordered, but everyone was able to eat the meals they ordered and/or received.
After being made to pay full price for a meal that was NOT made as ordered and was NOT eaten... I think it will be a while, if at all, before I would consider eating and/or getting take-out...
Read moreWe went here for our anniversary as we are on vacation and away from our normal special places to dine. We ended up here because this place got the best reviews compared to the other places we checked. While the artwork on the walls and booths is beautiful, all the booths have air conditioning blowing full blast at your legs so even though it is 61° outside, be prepared to be even colder. And it is LOUD when there are big groups in the main dining area. My husband and I could hardly hear each other. This is probably due to the fact that there are no soft surfaces to help absorb the sound. But even though the booth backs are hard, they are very comfortable.
We ordered an appetizer of guacamole to go with our chips. For $5.75, we got about 1/4-1/3 c of guacamole. It was very good but was gone fast. My husband ordered chicken fajitas. He said they were good and it was plenty of food but not a lot of flavor. I ordered a chicken chimichanga. Again there was plenty of chicken in the chimi but not a lot of flavor and dry. I guess because it got such great reviews, I expected more flavor. Kind of a bland experience. Except for the watermelon margarita I got with Midori, which we paid $14 for.
Not a horrible experience but not a great one either. Kind of mediocre and blah.
$53 for a dinner for 2. (Amount spent is without tip; we still tipped generously as none of this was our...
Read moreI’ve eaten here before and I would’ve given probably four stars. Last night was extremely disappointing. When I was trying to decide about a margarita I mentioned it to the waitress she told me to look on the back of the menu and and said they’re very expensive. So I ordered the house margarita. It was so bad that I went and got an extra shot of Tequila which really didn’t help much anyway. Everything was extremely bland. The chips and salsa were nothing, The rice tasted like nothing in the shrimp burrito wasn’t too bad. Granted it was Valentine’s Day but the waitress we had could not have been more disinterested in being there. My wife and I are generally 20% or more tippers And I’ve never seen my wife do this but we ended up only taking 5%.and I’ve never seen my wife do this but we ended up only tipping 5% I guess that’s enough said. Won’t be back there until they...
