Never in my life have I considered myself a “regular.” But The Hideout has changed that for me. Matt and Kathy have done something creative and unique that brings a special experience to anyone lucky enough to visit. FOOD - The food menu offers some delicious and beautifully plated small plates. Talking with the owners, they intend to change up the menu on a regular basis which will also provide versatility in the future. My personal current favorite are the potato croquettes. But over the last couple months, I’ve been lucky enough to try several unique and tasty specials, including arancini, gyros, carnitas, and many others! DRINKS - And the mocktails! I’m not a drinker…it is SO nice to have an option to feel like I’m having something unique that’s not just a boring old soda or water, but not have to drink alcohol to have a cool drink! I really enjoy the Public Figure but also the unique creations they come up with behind the bar. The District 2 was a favorite of mine, but this last one…the Prickly Pear Margarita….just amazing! SERVICE - Not only do Matt and Kathy roam around and try to make sure they greet everyone, thank them for coming out, and then thank them again on the way out, they knocked it out of the park with their staff. The chefs do an amazing job, hence the mouthwatering concoctions. Behind the bar, Ben has been a favorite of ours….always entertaining and coming up with some gorgeous and delicious drinks! Megan works front of the house and is super attentive and helpful, ensuring you have a great time. LOCATION - This building was what I once knew as The Vintage House. It’s tucked away on the West side of Marshfield on the outskirts of town. What’s nice is grabbing a non-alcoholic drink and not having to worry about the drive back into town. The decor inside is cozy and open, while somehow also feeling private enough to have a conversation. The bar is stunning and has a very cool vibe to it. Bonus - the playlist they have running fits the overall feeling of the location and makes for an enjoyable background during your visit!

What a great concept!! Among friends all night long (fellow diners, wait staff, owners, bartender). Very comfortable hangout place. INCREDIBLE food, the non-alcoholic drink menu is super creative. Well worth the drive from any direction!!

Was here for New Years murder mystery party. Excellent venue, food and drink; a really fun and different evening! I’ll be coming back for a regular night for sure!

Wonderful place to go on a date or out with a couple friends. Really refreshing to see non-alcoholic mixed drinks get so much presence alongside the alcoholic options. Every plate we ordered was consistently delicious, and the waitress was awesome. There was even dessert though we didn't see it on the menu!

Be prepared the routine of ordering is a little different than a typical restaurant - order several dishes and share, "family style"! You can stagger them too, so you can try a couple things then pick what you want next. If you don't like that idea, just order a dish for yourself and don't share.

Getting here from Marshfield is a little unusual in that, from the bird's eye view in Maps, it looks like it's a bit far out of town. But if you head out on Adler/Y then south on Wren, there are some gorgeous houses and vistas for 10 minutes, and then...

Check it out! Pleasantly different! An entire N/A menu is wonderful to see! The variety of plates garuntees everyone will find at least one thing to try. (And I personally would try any of it.) The coconut shrimp and their pineapple salsa were even better than I hoped for! The atmosphere and staff are great. Sometimes you just want a couple of little plates instead of one large meal and this is the place! I also highly recommend their Pear "margarita" and the brocktail(I could be calling it wrong but definitely has Brock in it) The Brock has cucumber in it and I'm not a huge cucumber person but it was actually SUPER good and refreshing! I could have ordered a whole pitcher! Can't wait to see what's next! Hopefully some outdoor seating...
