Serious Food — Restaurant in Town of Livonia

On our way back to the Cleveland area this past summer, we stopped by chance in this sweet, charming place. It's general store is filled with nostalgia, hard to find candy and unusual soft drinks and t-shirts among other things. Best was the cheeseburger on a hard roll with the best hot sauce ever. Apparently it won as the best hot sauce in the Rochester area out of over 400 contestants. Lovely owner too....

Our experience on July 4th was very disappointing. We brought our family there and had really hyped it up as we had good food here last year. Our French fries arrived limp, cold and greasy. Our chicken parm sandwiches were also greasy. You need to change your oil. This location is excellent and you have an opportunity to do outstanding, but we won't be back or bring anyone...

Roadside greasy spoon for burgers and dogs and ice cream. Good food and plenty of outdoor seating space. A little country store right next to it with a fun mix of weird decorations adds to the charm. Indoor the store serves breakfast with mix matched chairs, even barber chairs...
