Hilltop Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Town of Lockport

We decided on Hilltop to cater our wedding based on personal reviews and we are so glad we choose them! We wanted something unique, not your run of the mill banquet food and that’s just what we got! After much deliberation, following an amazing tasting (highly recommend), we decided on the braised sirloin tips, chicken Lilly, Asiago ziti, Gouda Mac n cheese, roasted potatoes, seasonal veggies as well as the Autumn salad. For an appetizer we choose the bruschetta (so good I ate the left overs with a spoon!), spinach and feta stuffed mushrooms and cheddar and bacon mushrooms and the fruit bowl with dip! They provided rolls and apple butter made from local apples. We liked the French Beignets so much we ordered those in Lieu of a traditional cake. Despite ever changing plans; times; location, Crystal was extremely accommodating and we had complete trust in her. We ordered enough food for 30, put even after sending people home with boxes, we are still enjoying the food days later. Our guests raved about the promptness, the portions and most of all the taste! We encouraged out guests to go there for dinner and to help spread the word, as a local business, especially during these changing times, word of mouth is everything! We would, hands down recommend Hilltop for a casual dinner or to cater your event! I almost forgot! We also ordered a tray of wraps for our wedding party prior to church. Half tray to the men the other to us ladies! Turkey, ham, roast beef and vegetable in various wraps! Again, enough for all of us and then some - my co-workers were very excited and willing to accept the left overs! The Hilltop Restaurant & Bar catered my wedding of 220 people and they were AMAZING in every way!! The food was absolutely incredible, full of flavor, and great portions. Literally every single person I talked to after the wedding said the food was the best they had ever had and the staff were very helpful. The food was just as good if not better than the smaller servings we had at our tasting, which is super impressive in such a large quantity (also the tastings are a blast!!). My husband and I cannot say enough about how awesome Crystal is to work with!! She is organized, fun, kind, personable, patient, understanding, knowledgeable (especially when it comes to the craziness of wedding planning) !! She made the whole process of planning the food for our wedding such a fun experience! I honestly believe there is no better person to work with or place to have cater any special event you may have!

When it comes to their food choices you really can’t go wrong with anything whether at their restaurant or for catering. Everything is made so fresh and bursting with flavor. The BBQ short ribs are by far the most amazing we have ever had and the bourbon sweet potato mash tastes like a cinnamon roll/a bit of heaven😋. Hilltop recently catered our wedding. From start to finish, they are an incredibly professional and efficient operation. Planning a wedding long-distance was hard, but Crystal was great emailing, calling, or texting us with info and updates. She was patient with our numerous questions and early switches. We went for a tasting and Demetrius was our server - very knowledgeable and personable. Chef Tony's food was incredible (and abundant) - fresh, not frozen ingredients! It was a no brainer, especially with their reviews. We did not use a traditional venue and food had to be carted from the parking lot to the location, but Hilltop didn't bat an eye and catered like it was any other place. The displays were well-done and visually-pleasing. The buffet food was hot! Extremely professional and neat. We received so many compliments on the homemade potato chips with the dips as well as the portabella chicken and sirloin with mushroom sauce! So many guests complimented the food!
