The Field House Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Lomira

I never feel like I need to write a bad review, but I just have to. Tonight I met a friend there to watch the race and get a bite to eat. Our waitress was very cute and eager to take our order and after asking us three times, we finally figured out what we wanted. I ordered a simple cheese burger and I specified, Medium. When the food came, I took one bite into it and it was the most well done burger I have ever in my life had. I was Very hungry so I did take another bite, but just couldn't eat it. After my friend was done eating she came to clear the plates and asked if I wanted a box. I told her, no, that she might as well throw it out. That it was way over cooked and I ordered it, medium. She quietly took it and brought the check. So besides the food not being cooked to my specifications: she never asked if everything was ok once we got our food or checked on us at all, when I did alert her to the problem with my sandwich she seemed like it was ok. Soda was flat. Was offered another type, that to had no carbonation (fizz). Waitress just said, "Oh". Meals arrived. Husband hot pork chops, just awful. About 1/8" thick, if that and extremely DRY! Came with mashed potatoes. They were NOT homemade, I'm sure they were instant. Husband left 3/4 of meal on plate. I had a burger, blah, nothing to write home about. I called out 2x for the waitress passing our table who completely ignored us. She never came over and asked how our meal was. I needed change to pay the bill and after sitting there for sometime, I left what I had and she ended up with a great tip, but we will never go back again. Very disappointed in my first experience here. We came in for dinner and drinks with some friends tonight and the tables were all open. There was going to be 8 of us. We asked to move two tables together and our waitress was more than willing and started to move them. Just before the tables were moved a gentleman from the bar spoke up that tables couldn’t be moved. He then proceeded to tell us the kitchen couldn’t handle cooking for 8 of us and could only do one table at a time. We told them that we wouldn’t mind doing half and half.
