Tassone's Wine Garden — Restaurant in Town of Lysander

To the owner, This is the third year in a row me and my G/F came there for Thanksgiving dinner, and last night dinner was a disaster. We arrived for our 3:00reservation, the wait was quick, and got seated at our table. We both looked over the menu and it was the same to be different from last years. The waitress arrived at our table both 5 mins. To start she never mentioned her name to start. She asked our drink order, from the beginning we could tell she had NO PERSONALITY, every blunt and stern. She  can back with the drinks, and ask us if we were having the Turkey dinner, and we both said yes, but I questioned VEGETABLES, and she quickly answered with  "It's a holiday menu and there's NO substation, again BOLD" with answer. So at this time, I told from ME, no cranberries or squash! So to my expectation when dinner arrived, low and behold just guess what was on my Plate, you guessed it squash and cranberry!!!!! So now before I forget, before she left our table with our order, she Specifically told us, there's no takeout and me and my G/F and we both her said it. And just a FYI, my G/F is completely DEAF in her right ear which was facing her! Needless to say, the meal was most displeasing to both of us. Some of her food was cool, and mine had the stuff I DIDN'T WANT ON MY PLATE! She only came back to our table once, to ask if things were fine, I just looked at her and knotted my head and never offered any refills on the drinks. When we finished, I was ready to go with discuss our meal. So when she arrived back, to ask if we wanted more, I answered no, and asked for the bill. she brought it to me and never returned to collect our money, so I decided to take it up front, and the rest is history, I'm carefully I'm assuming the host is part owner of...

Made a reservation for me and my Valentine for 7pm, seated at 7:15, not impressed but ok. Seated and drink orders taken, received in a timely fashion. Ordered dinner with salads, no bread given with salads even though everyone around us had bread but ok, give the waitress benefit of the doubt, maybe it will come with dinner. About 55 minutes later and starting to realize quit some time had passed the waitress comes to let us know “there was a backup in the kitchen and our food would be out in 5 minutes”, now starting to lose some patience but we are in good company and determined to have a nice evening. About 5 minutes later we start to notice people around us that were seated way after us were getting their food and still nothing for us, hostesses and a man that we suspected was a manager clearly see there is an issue but no one bothers to offer an apology or an explanation. We give her about 10 more minutes and decide our patience had run out. As we are leaving the waitress comes out with our food and offers to box it up, hell no. They don’t charge for the drinks or salad, thanks a lot! I don’t want to say that our evening was ruined, just being together is all I needed to make the night perfect, but I will say that was possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. All it would have taken was for someone to apologize and explain the situation and we would have been fine. Neither of us are impatient or unreasonable, this was just plain horrible! Hands-down, the worst dining experience I've had in years! Came in with our family of kids and treated about as dismissive and non existent as possible! Our waitress was an older lady who rolled her eyes multiple times and seemed frustrated to even have us. My kids are respectful, say please and thank you and my daughter even gave her a picture she colored, which she proceeded to walk back and throw out at the bar! Total miserable atmosphere and the food was sub par on top of it. Pizza for kids fell apart, wasn't even done, probably because they wanted us gone. Apparently kids meal comes with ice cream which was never offered, we'll probably cause they wanted us gone! If you're an old curmudgeon and like to eat and scowl come sit here, you'll fit right in. I still tipped the old bag 30%, simply to let her know that it's ok, families with kids do tip! Worst experience in 20 years no lie and my kids still said thank you when we left. If you have a family with small kids avoid this place like the plague, they don't deserve your $$

Thank you for the response. The server was unfriendly and rude plain and simple. How do we fix it at that moment? We felt like walking out, last thing I do is complain to people serving us food.
