Golfed here for a bachelor party recently and couldn’t believe how badly we were treated by the staff. Called ahead a few weeks and reserved a few tee times for 9 golfers. At hole #2 we were told by a Marshall to keep an eye behind us and let any golfers play through which we were cool with.
On hole 4 (no golfers behind us) a cart girl approached us and rudely told us we had to split up because we were slowing people up. A hole later the owner approached us and rudely told us again we needed to split up because we were slowing people up and a group behind us cancelled their tee time because of a large group.
Frustrating because we would have let any golfers play through but there was no one that got near us. The rest of the round the beer cart girl avoided us as well.

Read moreRATING FOR RESTAURANT ONLY. Nice atmosphere. Decent bar. Menu very basic. We ordered prime rib quesadilla and brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries. And side of onion rings. Onion rings were good. A bit small for $9. C'mon they are onions with batter... brisket sandwich was super tiny. Barely any meat. Quesadilla was the best. Very cheesy. As it should be. I'm not rating the service as it was clearly nonpeak season. What I can never understand is why a restaurant wants to cut corners with food and up charges when the whole world is watching and connected to social media. If you have a brisket sandwich, make it so the world wants to see the beautiful presentation and then learn about the aftermath of a person's experience eating it. I'd step it up. I have no...

Now for the not so good. They’re not putting any money into the course except to marginally maintaining it. The took Solo red cups poured cement in them and painted them for tee markers. The tee box signs look like they were done by paint by numbers. Most of the greens are mounded and do not reward you when you hit a good shot. The scorecard looks like it’s from a putt putt course. These are not exaggerating statements. This course is not for serious golfers. Go to Hayward GC, Spooner or Big Fish for serious golf. Come here for...
