Hotel Solsville — Restaurant in Town of Madison

After fishing all day with my son and his wife , they took me to the hotel for dinner .started out a little weird , seated in a dark side room off the bar , the waitress/ bartender took our drink order , after a bit then our order, appetizers came out . Fried ravioli were very crispy quite a bit over done , next after waiting an hour my sons and wife’s dinners came , mine and my husbands was 10 minutes later . Philly cheese steak , drier than barn wood covered in cheese whiz , horrible…… 2 hamburgers with raw onions, harder than a bowling ball One came with no onions……horrible! Rack ribs , my son said they weren’t bad . We had to keep getting our own drinks ! I don’t know who the cook was on this day , but they need some lessons , for over 100.00 I wouldn’t go...

Hadn't been for dinner in years...will definitely go more often ... waitress had good energy, was knowledgeable and efficient-fried seafood plate was a bit overdone for my liking, but good, garlic mash with beefy gravy very good..but the ribs..oh my --Fantastic!!! Jan 2024: we've only been here a few times. Normally we are watching and listening to music. The food is great from the dishes we've had. The boneless chicken wings are fantastic. Food appears to be very fresh. Prices are reasonable. The parking is good, but when there's a band you may want to get there early. The bar is usually very busy. Other areas of the building are opened up as needed. The service can be a little bit slow, so be prepared to spend some time. However. The servers are fantastic. They're just busy....
