I really wanted to like this place, but left disappointed. First of all, the online menu doesn't have any pricing on it. Not a big deal, but it definitely comes as a surprise if you're not expecting to pay more than $10-12 per person for food. I decided to try this restaurant because I heard they had good burgers. What I didn't expect was confusion. I ordered what I thought would be a somewhat standard menu item: a double cheeseburger basket. I'm not sure what happened, but that item doesn't exist and they couldn't combo it, so they upcharged me to a $15 double bacon cheeseburger basket, then modified it with no bacon. I was ok with it because it was only about .50 more. What I got was NOT a double cheeseburger. I've eaten thousands of burgers over the years, and a double cheeseburger is two patties and two pieces of cheese - literally two cheeseburgers. What I received was a single patty with two pieces of cheese and some limp fries. When I went to the counter to ask what happened, I got several odd looks and was told that their version of a double cheeseburger was two pieces of cheese. When I mentioned that I've never heard of that version before, the manager (I think?) asked if I wanted another patty but made it sound like I'd have to pay for it. I was already out $15 on the upcharged combo that they entered, so I took my food and wandered off. The burger was fine, but it wasn't what I ordered. The fries needed more crisp. My girlfriend's salad was good though, so that's a win. Overall, it's more expensive than you'd think and you have to have an open mind when it comes to what they believe certain items are. I'd be willing to give this another shot, but will likely only order things ala carte to avoid confusion.

We stopped here at the suggestion of the people at the nearby Covered Bridge store/diner, as their kitchen was closed for dinner when we stopped in, and didn't regret it. My kids got a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets, which they enjoyed. My wife got a fried fish, and liked it quite a bit. I got a grilled chicken sandwich, and this was good. The meat was well cooked but not dry, and tasty. This is a pretty small place, and we were here pretty late but they served us without issue and were very kind about us getting dinner even though it was only about 30 minutes before they were closing for the night.

Great place for some hometown feel and homestyle food. I remember coming here as a kid. My Dad would treat us to cones after loading up scrap wood from the bat factory up the road. It's a drive-in. Order food or ice cream from the walkup window or find a seat inside, either way its a great choice.

I don't like to talk negatively about any small business, but we've come here a few times and while the food is okay, it's nothing spectacular. The place itself is very nice and they always have creative specials and new things to try with ice cream. We were there over the weekend and it wasn't particularly busy but we waited a very long time. No problem, understandable. At a glance, the prices seem low but they nickel and dime you for everything. Charged for sauce with the popcorn chicken (the way she asked made it seem like it was included - not a big deal, but again, nickel and dime). The meals themselves are small. Our waitress was very nice and kept busy the whole time cleaning etc. $45 for 2 people to eat fryer food (not including ice cream) is pretty crazy considering the prices/quality of other restaurants nearby. What really turned us off though is when we went outside to get ice cream, the young kid working was belittled by the older lady when she took the ice cream out of his hand to weigh it and put her hand in his face saying it should be 5 ounces, not 7 like he had done. I totally understand the cost of things now but certain aspects just seem excessive and we will unfortunately not...

If i could put zero stars I definitely would I ordered ice cream and after starting to eat the ice cream I realized the ice cream was vanilla when I asked for a cotton candy sundae because in the description it says cotton candy ice cream and I didn't ask for vanilla and i asked if they could fix it and an employee said we are outta cotton candy ice cream well another girl came up to the window and asked what was happening and I told her I just wanted a cotton candy sundae and she said what did you ask for I said cotton candy sundae she said well how about I just give you two scoops of cotton candy ice cream and you take the whip cream from one sundae to the two scoops of ice cream so she made it and then catches an attitude with me saying next time be more specific...
