Came in to watch the packers game with my Husband and we were pleasantly surprised by the big screen TVs, and gathering of locals for the game. The bartender brought out a delicious cheese and cracker plate for each table/group. They also have a super cute outdoor area. Great time, great service, great drinks! Highly recommend!

Came in to watch the packers game with my Husband and we were pleasantly surprised by the big screen TVs, and gathering of locals for the game. The bartender brought out a delicious cheese and cracker plate for each table/group. They also have a super cute outdoor area. Great time, great service, great drinks! Highly recommend!

The food was ok, but we were overcharged for fries. We wanted our fish with the side order $3 fries, but instead we were charged $6 each for large fries. It was a difference of $9 on the bill. I pointed it out to the bartender, and he didn't reduce the bill. He only said that he served us the BIG fries. (I didn't ask for the BIG fries!) He should have refunded us the $9 discrepancy. We'll never go back. September 22 update..... We still never got the...

We always find ourselves at the Howling Dog when we go up north...it is the definition of a dive bar. The service there isn't always the best, but you will probably have a good time either way. If you are looking for a low key place to stop, this would be a...
