Killino's Riverside Diner — Restaurant in Town of Marcy

These folks can be rude. They use a delivery service to deliver orders for them, but when the driver shows up for the order, they’re obnoxious and rude to the driver. People don’t deserve that for trying to earn a living.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: The woman with long brown hair and glasses is rude. I was just standing there, patiently waiting, when she just looks at me, no greeting whatsoever, and tersely says “It’s going to be 10 minutes”. I replied “Oh, for (customer name)”? And she snapped back at me “YES! THE PICKUP TIME IS 5:15!!”. I did nothing but confirm the name on the order and your employee bit my head off. It was completely unprovoked and unnecessary. I confirmed the name and your employee snapped on me for it. We do not deserve the blind hatred that we get from some restaurants and their employees. I’m sorry but this is what happened. The grubhub driver Joshgunn took over 30 minutes to deliver, he went in opposite direction of me, on another delivery, which is infuriating, I gave him a $10 tip & delivery should take no more than 10 minutes. Then he just left food sitting in my entrance & never knocked to let me know he was here. I have specific directions for delivery drivers as I am disabled, use side entrance and knock loudly on inside door! Overall not happy at all.

Have Ordered delivery several times via grubhub, everything has always been very fresh, hot & usually delivered promptly. My favorites so far are the eggs Benedict, sausage gravy & biscuits, giambotta, Pan fried home fries with peppers & onions. Fish fry very good, but needs more tartar sauce!! Don't miss out on excellent food and service. The coffee is fresh. I had a bacon, egg & cheese on toast which was cooked to perfection. The omelets are huge and tastes like love at first bite. Old school cartoons on the television set the good Ole days vibe. I was definitely digging this quaint restaurant. 5 out of 5 stars given to Christa, staff & chef. I'll surely be back next year.
