I was looking forward to trying this place as I had been hearing such good things about this place since high school (3 years ago)! We headed to Massena for an errand this afternoon and I thought this was the perfect opportunity! We came in and sat down and the atmosphere seemed fun and inviting! Immediately I worried about my grandmother; as all of the lower top tables were taken; (high tops are hard for her to sit). Obviously, not their fault. Nonetheless, we sat and were greeted almost immediately and asked what we wanted to drink. Nearly 10 minutes later we received them. That was kinda irritating, but I’m a server myself and I know how things can get so I let it slide. As we waited to put our orders in, I noticed almost everyone around us had either been taken care of or was eating except one table. It was awhile until we were greeted to put our orders in; but regardless, I let it slide. We put our orders in…my grandmother ordered French onion soup and a BLT with chips, I ordered a CUP of loaded chili and a southwest burger with tater tots. My grandmothers soup came out, but my chili did not. I figured, “well maybe it’s not ready and there bringing it soon”. My grandmother was halfway done with her soup when our food came out. My grandmothers order was correct, but I received a southwest burger with ONION RINGS. And still no chili, so I decided to speak up and then the server ran into the kitchen to which I think he forgot it on the counter and nuked it in the microwave because bits of it were hot and others cold. At this point, I wasn’t impressed. Not only did I receive my appetizer- after my meal- but it was cold. I wasn’t the only one that wasn’t impressed either. I witnessed a table get up and leave as soon as we got our food, to which I’m assuming is because they ordered before us. Which is totally a reasonable excuse. I wasn’t impressed with the food-for the price and for the “basic and bland” taste. I’ve had the same burger 30 other different places for cheaper and better. Not to mention- when they charged me for the yucky chili they charged me for a bowl when I ordered a CUP. Won’t be going back. So...
Read moreThe food was extremely good and portion size was large ... The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is price and I don't like how they automatically charge your card with i believe it was a 20 percent tip if you have 6 people or more in your party, I find that unacceptable ... I'm a pretty high tipper as I believe servers who do a good job deserve a good tip but automatically charging for a tip is ridiculous... There were 4 of us and it came to $105 with tip and none of us got appetizers or desert and we got water as our drink other than 1 person in our party got coffee so price i would say is a little high but not horrible... Overall though the food and service was great and I would go back and I do recommend the place just make sure you read all the small print on the menu when it comes to tipping and charging your card because there are fees that I don't agree with and you don't want surprises when...
Read moreMyself along with my fiance and parents came to Morley's around noon on a sunday, the service was quick and pleasant! We were happy to hear one of the specials was half off boneless wings!! We ordered teriyaki and sweet heat, both were abundant fresh tasting and flavorful. For entrees we had the red raider and the fresh haddock on a brioche bun. The red raider is a good sized burger with a sweet michigan sauce and a glazier hot dog served with colslaw on the side. Burger was cooked to the temp requested, (a surprise if your used to eating in upstate new york) Fries was well seasoned. The haddock my mother and fiance had was fresh and battered well, fresh bun also. All in all the food was top notch, price is to be expected for high quality food, and good sized portions. Would highly recommend to people looking to have an upscale meal! Our waitress Destiny was also informative and prompt with...
