Route 35 Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Meenon

The server was polite and kind. Used to frequent the Yellow River when we were in town, and I was excited to try the new establishment. A friend recently visited and said the food was good, but the service was poor at best and would never return.

Bartender was rude from the moment that our party of 5 entered. I asked about the Bloody- which used to be excellent and had a great Vodka selection. I asked if the Bloody was the same and she said rudely, "No they are better." I asked why and she said that the mix was house made. I asked if they had the Vodka that I used to drink there, and they discontinued it. I ordered a beer. My whole party was taken back by the exchange. A place that we used to look forward to visiting, we will no longer go to. Very sad- I would rate it a 1 star- but the young server there on the afternoon was kind and polite. I feel that the wait staff needs more training. It seems that they can't multitask. we were there for the fish fry, watched numerous tables send back their meals. One of the people at our table ordered tea, took half hour to get it, he had the fish fry and baked potato, no butter, or sour cream. Never seen so many people in this bar, hopefully the new owners will fix the issues before they start...
