Whiskey Joe's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Meenon

Meh. I consider myself a foodie. Classic pub grub in remote WI. Such a great location with a great patio. Inside is a bit dank, outside is filled with smokers. Food/Burger was just okay. Service was just fine, but it was slow when I was there. It's not hard to make a delicious burger. Grind your own chuck roast and slap it on a flat top . . . toppings are typical anywhere you go. That's my tip to set this place apart from everywhere else around here, with a captive audience...

We stopped in Sunday July 17 at around 12:30. I asked a woman do we wait to be seated she said seat yourselves anywhere so she knew we were there. The patio was not crowded. We waited 20 minutes. Other tables were being waited on around us so they could see we were there. No one acknowledged us or brought a menu, nothing. We finally got up and left. We understand wait staff being busy but at least stop by table with menu and say I’ll be with...

I'd say a pretty good spot to stop. During the summer they have where you can get drinks while in the water. The water felt gross to me, but then again the water is green. Not the businesses fault how the water is though. Very enjoyable place any time of year that's for sure. I am unsure if they do it every year for shop with a cop where the kids and sheriffs go to eat, but thought that was pretty cool of...
