Unfortunately have to make a bad review of this place. We live 5 minutes away from the pizza shop, so it was our go to âI donât wanna cookâ food. We go almost every other week, and we always leave a tip. They are usually very friendly, and the food is good. Today was a different story. We ordered something different from our usual, and they happened to forget one of the items. No big deal. When we first called and said this, they said we could come back and get it. While I was on my way there, they called my girlfriend back to tell her that they did bag it and that we were somehow mistaken. When I arrived there, they got off the phone with my girlfriend and then proceeded to tell me that they knew they had it right and that we were LYING. I tried to explain the items they gave me in the bag, and they doubled down, saying that âhow could we know if you didnât bring the food back?â. So I had to drive back to my home, get the food, and return to prove it. They must have realized their mistake, because before I could get a word out they were telling me that they were making a new one. I then had to ASK for an apology, and I had to wait for them to make a new one. The lady at the front desk was very nice, but it was kind of inexcusable for the rest of the staff. I should note that we absolutely never forgot our manners throughout the process, and didnât raise our voice or insult anybody once. We absolutely did not appreciate being called liars, especially as regular customers. It was highly inconvenient that I had to drive back and forth 3 times, and all I got was an apology that I had to ask for initially. My dinner by then of course was cold, besides my remade item. It was overall an insulting experience, and we unfortunately wonât be returning for the...
Read moreFood is good (minus the sheet pizzas DONT get those) but the staff sucks. They say 20 minutes, you give them 30 and you get there and they're just putting your pizza in the oven. Forget about delivery, you'll be waiting hours and when you call they'll give you an attitude for wanting to know where your food is. Wings are good but usually kind of skimpy. What really gets me is they NEVER apologize (unless you tell them to) and there's always at least 2 employees standing around doing nothing. You'd think a place would at least knock $5 off your food or give you something extra when you wait over an hour for a delivery. They know it's the only place in PB for pizza so they don't care. We have started driving to Cato to NY pizza or Auburn just to avoid this place. (obviously aren't going to give our business to their Weedsport location) If I owned this place I would clean house and hire some people with experience because if someone else opened another pizza place in town, Nino's would be...
Read moreOrdered pizza and wings and have done it before and liked. This perticular order was picked up and brought home. Pizza looked great and i opened wings and they look like they came out of boiled pot. I have had many wings in my life and theses were not deepfried atall and no mild sauce. I called them up and they gladly said they would replace them if i brought them back. I took them back and to my amazement the pizza maker says to me " really sir, it looks like you took a paper towel to them and brought them back" . now i was surprised. Why would i return wings wiped down only to get the exact same order? I was not getting anything for free or an extra anything. So my point is how foolish does that make him for not treating a customer like a customer. I was shocked and now the entire family and my friends will no longer take treatment such as that and no it onger order from ninos in portbyron. The management there has no ethics of business and act like they are doing me a favor....
