Stonewall at the Meredith Inn — Restaurant in Town of Meredith

My wife and I were looking at a central location for our wedding between her family who lives mostly in the NYC/Philadelphia area and my family who lives in the Western New York area. We decided the Catskills would be a great area to look for a venue. We did some research and heard great things about Stonewall Estates. My mother-in-law was able to visit and loved the aesthetics of the area. We decided to choose Stonewall at the Meredith for our venue, and we are so thankful we did! My wife and I were able to go out about 3 months before our wedding to visit and do taste testing. It was everything we wanted in a venue! The building was perfect size for our wedding, it was set up so we could do our ceremony outside and easily walk right back inside for cocktail hour and our reception, and the food was amazing. The wedding planner made everything so easy and convenient for us. They also work closely with a local florist who met us at the venue when we visited which was very helpful.

Fast forward 3 months to our wedding weekend. Everything was set up just how we asked! We did our dress rehearsal Friday evening and it was so easy because it had already been planned out. We were able to use a room above the venue to get ready before the wedding as well, which was very convenient. The ceremony was beautiful outside and cocktail hour was hosted outside literally 50 feet away making it easier for older relatives to navigate the wedding. The meal was amazing, and our friends still bring up how much they loved the dinner they had! We were fortunate enough to have a double rainbow show up after dinner as well. We hosted our rehearsal dinner/welcome party at the Meredith and could not recommend it enough. Louann and the Stonewall group created an outdoor oasis for our 80 dinner guests and seamlessly transitioned dinner into a welcome party for 125+. The food was phenomenal, and the chefs were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our friends and family are still talking about the dishes months later! A few weeks before the event we were discussing décor/florals and Louann took charge, picking flowers from her friend’s garden and creating the most beautiful arrangements for our tables, making sure we did not need to worry about anything. We were in awe of what the crew put together. We also hosted our morning after the wedding brunch at the Meredith which was phenomenal. The food was incredible and set up beautifully. The chefs put together a combination of plated and take away items the guests loved. The Meredith is perfect for a smaller/mid-size wedding, or for pre/post wedding events for those getting married at Stonewall Estate. Louann was such a pleasure to work with. She knows every little detail with wedding planning and gave the best suggestions! She made it very easy for us to trust her completely, she provided up to date information about covid restrictions and was so professional and fun to work with. She made our wedding dreams come true! The food was absolutely spectacular! I still think about it! We held our rehearsal dinner at Stonewall at The Meredith and they catered our wedding cocktail hour and reception.
