Went with my GF and her family and we had a great time. Because of the pandemic and the size of the building they had to adapt and they have tables set up outside. We were served by Denison and his service was kind, fast and attentive. We had a good guac and chips and some superb empanadas that we really enjoyed. We had some chicken mole tacos, the beef volcán,the mixed enchiladas with Verde and some taco arracheros. Besides saying that the food was excellent, we can say that the beef was amazing, the salsa verde is authentic (my GF who has lived in Mexico was raving about how it was delicious and not bitter) and the mole was delicious, which is something that is not easy to accomplish. We finished it all with some churros and ice cream, which were warm, firm and crunchy and they should be. We met thanya, the owner, and she was not only friendly but also kind and welcoming. Read moreCalled for curbside pickup and was answered with we aren’t sure if we are offering that service tonight and then left the phone off the hook so that I could hear the entire conversation they were having for ten minutes. So drove over bc we were on our way home to Massachusetts which was a detour bc we heard it was very very unforgettable delicious food to only be told by a very rude young lady that couldn’t answer our question at first as to whether curbside was available. Was then told no even after we had said we couldn’t dine in due to an autoimmune disorder my husband has due to a disability. I proceeded to then let them know that their phone was off the hook and was just stared at as an answer. Will never come back to this place ever again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either despite the reviews...
Read moreWe've been here twice and had a fabulous meal both times. As soon as you enter you get the most wonderful aromas. Every item that was served had taste that just jumped out at you. The service was leisurely probably because they are small with limited staff, but it really gave us time to relax and enjoy the whole meal. The menu includes some items cooked in volcanic rock vessels that are served sizzling at your table. They produce the meat on the farm , raise most of the veggies or buy them from local farms. You can tell by the tastes. The owner is a native of Mexico. Lovely people, great food, oh, and BYOB. We are going back again in a couple of weeks with friends...
