What a wonderful eatery! Delicious organic food and sitting inside a beautiful open-air greenhouse surrounded by exotic flowers and plants. The service is quick and served by the friendliest of staff. If you're concerned about the prices, consider 1/2 the price is the atmosphere and quality of the menu items, then the cost is very reasonable. I have to drive 2 hours each way to this location, but it's a pretty drive and I'm never disappointed when I arrive...UPDATE... I attended the last open day of 2019. It was well attend ed with lines out the door. As usual the food was awesome, the waitresses were nicer than ever and it was topped off with a beautiful Autumn day. Have a fantastic Winter off and we can't wait for the Spring opening and fresh flowers. I hope you enjoyed the candy bars! 2020 Update: Brunch was better than ever! Highly recommend the fresh blueberry french toast with a very tasty side of organic bacon. Thanks Rebekah for the best coin flip ever! 😀 Another Update... I agree with the last post...They have delicious waitresses 🤣 The food was delicious too on a perfect weather day! Avalyn was fantastic and a fellow chipmunk hater! Can't wait for my next trip! ❤💜💙 New Update... Once again a beautiful weather day with delicious food and excellent servers. Make sure you don't miss out on meeting the lovely thick- haired golden blonde with four legs and stares deep into your eyes as you scratch under their...
Read moreMay the Origins Cafe forever bloom and grow so that my Taste Buds and I can visit time and time again.
The Origins Cafe is a restaurant set inside a greenhouse. My Taste Buds and I really enjoy the eclectic collection of plants and trees and shrubs and vegetation that surrounds us as we dine. To top it off, we sat at a table by one of the mini water fountains.
I personally enjoy the eclectic décor of the Origins Cafe. It's whimsical and artsy and chic all at the same time. Even the diners bring a certain eclectic vibe to the dining experience.
My other Taste Buds appreciate the delicious foods and the way the kitchen plates the dishes (especially the signature flower that is present on almost, if not every plate).
We all love that they source the food they serve with organic foods from local farms and their own gardens.
Origins Cafe is a seasonal restaurant, so if you can't get there by the end of October, then better luck next year. I would also call ahead and check if reservations are needed.
By the way, if you have a plant, shrub, tree, etc. that you like while you are dining, you can take it home with you for a price.
We, Taste Buds, gathered, experienced, and now share this place with you. We love it here, and now you get to decide too. Enjoy your visit and don't forget to...
Read moreLove the food. My 3rd time there. 1st two times were for breakfast/brunch. Yesterday, the third time, was for dinner. All three times the food, drinks, and staff were amazing. Short wait time even with the amount of people that go there. When we went for dinner, we didn’t make any reservation (which per website is required), but we called to test our luck and they were able to accommodate us for outdoor seating, which was actually amazing. The weather was nice, sunny, but surrounding had enough trees and such to overcast the sun making it pleasant to stay outside and enjoy some nature while eating. Even with indoor seating, there’s plants everywhere and it’s such a great natural atmosphere. There’s live music when we were there for brunch. You can look around for plants you might like and buy.
Must try recommendation: mushroom soup is fabulous - the dillllllllllllllll!!!!!! Other things I tried include hibiscus tea, grapefruit beer, tarragon chicken salad, forgot which panini for brunch the 1st time I was there but it was amazing, and coconut curry dish. All of the food and drinks are great. They serve you water with a slice of lemon - even the water taste different lol.
Will definitely be back to try...
