Showed up Sat night for dinner. Saw that it had reopened under new name/owners. Had high hopes based on menu / pictures on website. Parking lot was empty, but decided to give it a go, Inside was very empty for the large space. We had all check out the menu before and we looking forward to a new place around the lake. Overall, just an âmehâ experience. Menu on website is not what they have onsite. Limited to burgers, chicken sandwich, wings and nachos. Say they add as they move along it will expand but we shall see. Food was below average. Burgers/chicken sandwich was nothing special. Presentation was open face, meat one side and fixings on other, for ~$15, Iâd expect more than a slightly fancied up McDonalds burger. Patty seemed to be premade, store bought. I could be wrong. Should have take a picture. One of us ordered appetizers as their main, told the server when ordering, and those came out 5-10 mins before the other 3. Hard to understand when place was empty. Hate to see how kitchen is when busy. Food was not bad, edible, way below average. If they want to stick around for the summer time, they better get their act in gear. Too many other places around that do a good job.. I hope they do get their act together. On plus side, a young man started playing music about 715. He as good. Wish we could have stayed but had other plans...

I was the producer of Bar Rescue for many seasons â I know bars. And Milton Roadhouse is one of the worst-run places Iâve ever stepped into.
The owners sit at the bar drinking all day, barking orders while doing absolutely nothing to improve the disaster theyâve created. The manager is visibly drunk and useless. Bartenders are slow, untrained, and clearly have no leadership. Youâll wait an hour for food that isnât worth five minutes â cups are dirty, service is trash, and the food is worse.
They advertise a âBurger Builderâ like itâs some epic experience, but what you get looks like a sad Carlâs Jr. drive-thru burger â absolutely nothing close to a real burger joint. Just another gimmick to distract from the mess behind the scenes.
Theyâre burning through money on ads and appearances while ignoring the core problems. No real systems, no standards, no leadership â just egos, bad food, and false promises.
Iâd consider buying the place and fixing it, but the owners are too full of themselves and too deep into blowing their 401k to realize how far gone it is.
âWorld Famousâ? More like world famous failure.
Do yourself a favor â go...
Read moreI really want this place to succeed as I live very close, but, I stopped in before nine to grab something since the "grill is on past nine" unfortunately that means only a couple items are available, I ordered 10 "Jumbo" wings, they suggested tater tots to go with, I said sure, sounds good, thinking they were included. While I waited, I looked over the menu, the tots were an upcharge. No biggie, wife was hungry. Asked if celery sticks came with, sure they said. When my order came up, I opened the clam shell to see wings, the bartender says "the other stuff is under the foil" I take it home. My wife opens it up, " did you get fries?" She asks, "yup, tater tots, under the foil" Under the foil is the dipping sauce and 1 piece (4") of celery, no tots, no fries. Checked the receipt, I wasn't billed for fries. I paid $25 for wings, that weren't even 10 wings, they were drums and flats, meaning 5 wings = 10 pieces. I'm not going to tell anyone how to run a business, but I do know how to build customers, and...
