Alexander's — Restaurant in Town of Mina

This was my first and only visit to this restaurant. The waitress came and took our order. I ordered a hamburger with no bun and a side salad and an appetizer. My sister ordered the same hamburger with a side salad with the bun. She also ordered an appetizer. Someone from the kitchen finally brought my sister's appetizer then about 10 minutes later the waitress brought my appetizer. That was the last time we saw her until an hour later. No one came and asked if we wanted any other drinks. No one came and asked if the appetizers were okay. After about half an hour I received my hamburger and my salad. I reminded the person who brought my meal that my sister was waiting for the same meal. He said he would look into it. While I was waiting to for my sister to get her meal, I started on my salad. I realized there wasn't enough dressing. I asked four different people for dressing, nobody came. I finally went inside the restaurant and asked for extra dressing. They reluctantly gave it to me. After 20 minutes of waiting for my sister's hamburger and salad to come I finally went in and found the waitress and ask where our hamburger was. She said she would put it in. After another 25 minutes of waiting My sister decided she didn't want it anymore. We just wanted to get back to our hotel. So I went back in and found the waitress and told her never mind the hamburger we just wanted the bill. Two minutes later she came out with the hamburger and no bill. We said we didn't want it anymore. She said she would put it in a takeout box for us to take. After several minutes she finally came back with the hamburger in a box and the bill. We expected the hamburger not to be on the bill because of the 45-minute wait for the food. I was not very happy so I went in and asked for a manager. One of the men who had been in and out of the kitchen said he could help me. I explained the situation and said that we waited 45 minutes for the hamburger and he called me a liar. I told him that my meal came at 6:25 and that hers did not come until 7:10. He said fine you don't have to pay tonight but don't ever come back to this restaurant again. I said not a problem. I went back to the table we paid for everything we got except for the hamburger and we left. We will never return to that restaurant again. First time here and will be my last

My boyfriend and I love trying new restaurants in different cities and normally they r wonderful and bend over backwards for customers and it's such a nice experience

This place could care less if u have a good experience....we waited forever for our food and had to ask about when or if it would be coming

When we finally received the food it wasn't what I ordered and burnt and my boyfriend said his was so greasy and made him feel sick

We told the waiter it was our first time there and food was burnt and not an enjoyable experience and he apologized and said he would take 10 percent off the bill which came to 27.00!!! He took 80 cents off the bill....that is less than a third of 10 percent and either amount is pretty crappy considering I ate burnt personal size pizza and left half of it

No offer of a new dinner.. serving burnt food after over an hour of waiting for the food is perfectly fine there

After a fun day that we had, they literally ruined our night...worse decision was to try that restaurant....we were starving after a day of climbing...we wanted to sit relax and unwind for a quick sandwich and pizza then walk around the festival but instead we sat in a hot restaurant with no air conditioning waiting for our food that we got over an hour after we were seated and ordered while we were watching the vendors close for the evening The best part was that huge discount of 80 cents for our...

Went here as a recommendation while attending the Harvest Festival. Drinks were great as well as service but the food- never again. We ordered the : Veggie Flatbread - Butter & garlic sauce, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and red peppers (note that ALL other flatbread stated they came with cheese. This did not which is why I order it.)

Chicken Quesadilla - Served with lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream on the side. Topped with spicy aioli.

Flatbread came out with heavy cheese, and the veggies looked like frozen particles.

The Quesadilla was good enough until hubby dives into the Pico on the side and we both see a long black hair.

Hubby is brown and I'm blonde. I sent my dish back back not requesting another and my husband's dish back after showing the waitress the black hair which she quoted "gross".We sent that away and asked for the bill. My dish got taken off as the menu as it does misrepresent the toppings and hubby got a whopping 15% off his dish which came out to less than $2 after a hair was found in it. I wouldn't have minded paying for the 4 drinks as they were great, but both dishes should have been taken off. Especially finding hair in the food.

View of Findley Lake was great but there were no precautions to the massive amounts of yellowjackets which left us and other patrons, batting them away.
