Update: it’s been 2 years and my wife and I still discuss how disappointing this place was!

There’s 3 reasons to not go here. 1. Long wait, they said 1.5 hours 2. The food was done earlier and was borderline cold when we got it. 3. It was very expensive for what it is.

Now, in detail. We called our order in, didn’t receive a total.

We arrived after 1.5 hours to pick up our food, after considering ordering somewhere else while waiting. The hostess/bartender was very busy and we waited several minutes before any interaction. While we waited we looked around at the beverage cooler and got a 2 liter of coke, and some ice cream from the freezer nearby. The store also had a ton of fake coach bags, wallets etc…. Which is cool and all, but strange at a bar and restaurant. The hostess seemed frazzled when we spoke, she had some strange sores on her hands, and the receipts were all kinds of disorganized.

We got our food and I checked, and as I anticipated the food was cold, like it had been sitting for about 30 minutes.

Food wise, overall not bad. A few things of note, the Stromboli wasn’t what I expected, it was basically a calzone but smaller. The onion petals weren’t bad(they were cold though. Now, the pizza logs, they’re egg rolls with pepperoni and cheese. They’re fine, the marinara we got was likely from a jar in the fridge. Also, the olives in the supreme Stromboli were from a can, and they were gross.

this is obviously a family owned establishment, and usually I really like little spots like this, only problem is they need a few more people working, and a class in communication. The biggest issue we had was the total was $62. For cold food, canned olives and pizza egg rolls. I assume the coke and ice cream didn’t help, but there weren’t prices on anything and the receipt wasn’t itemized. I would try on if the other two places, unless you’re into overpaying for...

Ive been there twice. The first time they were understaffed, and my food was 40 minutes late. Which I don’t have a problem with I can understand being understaffed. My problem is The second time I was there, I ordered the same thing as the first time which was the hot chicken wings. The first time they were moist delicious and had plenty of sauce in the bottom for dipping. The second time they were dry and had zero sauce in the bottom for dipping. I live 30 minutes away and every weekend I order something from a local restaurant to treat myself for eating right during the week if I’m going to drive an hour total for a meal I want it to be consistent every time. This was far from consistent. I don’t mind things being a little late. I am patient, but I want to know that I will get what I expect to get as far as consistency. Every time I order something. I will be trying them again this weekend. Its going to be either 3rd times a charm or three strikes and you’re out.

Update: I went again, I purposely asked for extra dipping sauce in the bottom of the wings. And they did a great job the food there is fantastic and when you have fantastic food, the word spreads however if you don’t maintain consistency in that fantastic food, it can be frustrating. If I could rate this restaurant a zero I would. That was the very worst Chinese food, if you could even call it that, that I have ever eaten. The fried rice was nothing but steamed rice with some veggies in it that had soy sauce poured into it. The fried rice with chicken was the same thing only dried pieces of chicken placed on the top. The General Tos's Chicken was nothing but fried dough with little to no chicken to be found in the meal. The sauce they had poured over it tasted nasty. Discussing!!! The service was horrible, had to wait for 50 minutes for the food, waited again for our check which we never got & I had to go to the counter and ask for it. Waited there for at least 7 minutes and then no one knew how to check me out. Waitresses running around like they didn't know what to do. You could tell no one had ever been trained as a real waitress. Would never eat there again!!! The one guy found my check so I could pay my bill. Not even sure if it was the correct amount as I never got to see it. Just paid it and got the heck out there. Very very disappointed with everything. A waste of my time & hard earned money.
