Felicia's Little Diner — Restaurant in Town of Montgomery

This was my first time eating here. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I had breakfast with my wife. I had pancakes and home fries. The pancakes were perfect. The home fries were ok. They lacked flavor and were on the dry side. My wife had an omelet and it was very flavorful. The waitress didn't check in to see if we needed anything until we were done with our meal. I would've liked to have more syrup with my pancakes. I thought the coffee was expensive since it was just a 6oz cup of coffee (we didn't even have a refill since she only offered more coffee when we were ready for our check) It cost more than a medium size coffee at D&D. Ok, the atmosphere is old style, basic diner decor. Be prepared to take a step into the past. But part of the atmosphere experience is, Felicia actually works there and is delightful. All of her staff smile and say hello when you walk in, and they mean it. You can feel the family pride instantly. They aim to please and always are attentive and jovial. The food is excellent, yes it is diner fare, but the breakfast is perfect and the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and bacon is exceptional! Are you a Californian who was disappointed with the food in New York??? Felicia's was a pleasant and welcome surprise on two main drags in Orange County, NY. Coffee was excellent, they offered cream, milk, and Equal! My omelet was delicious and I was given so much food I had to get a box! Priced very well for the area. I did not have to salt my food!
