622 Eatery — Restaurant in Town of Moriah

I moved into this area about 5 years ago and have always "complained" that there is no variety of cuisine and flavor here. I have traveled theworld and been spoiled. Every place serves some variation of the next place down the road. I was beyond thrilled when Frontier Town opened up with some of my very favorite Pakistani and Indian foods served. Then came 622 Eatery! Latino/Mexican/So. American food is in my top three favs. The bar has been set high for years. The carnitas is cooked perfectly, with authenticity. None of this mushy pulled pork that some places serve. There are some toppings that were not expected on the tacos: diced peppers (red, yellow, and green) along with shaved radish. Also, it should be noted that while not mentioned on the menu, cilantro is heavily present. This matters to those of us that can't eat it because it tastes like soap to us. I just picked it all off and was left a delicious generously portioned taco. The floutas were awesome. Arroz con pollo: flavorful, moist, with perfectly cooked seasoned rice. The empanadas were interesting. I love empanadas but this was the first time I have ever seen them with raisins/grapes(?) in them. Hubby said they were amazing though! Was our first time there! We loved it. Food was great! The restaurant looked awesome, love the way it was all set up. The server was awesome to talk to, overall just a great first visit!! I got the quesadilla which was amazing!! I didn't like the dipping sauce it came with seemed a little watered down and I forgot to ask what it was lol, maybe it was meant to be that way. My fiance got fried rice with black beans and a make your own taco kit( there is a name for the dish I just dont remember what it is lol) she said it was amazing! She also got a lime margarita i think it is but said it was the best one she's ever had and she's been to a few different places and states. This is definitely a must try. Looking at the outside we didn't quite know the quality of everything we would be experiencing. Walking in, I was blown away by how beautiful the atmosphere would be. Its clean, relaxing, and has a natural feel. The service is amazing and the food was just as good. We were blown away by the quality of everything we ate. It was all very well priced, and worth every penny. My sister can't believe that she would be blown away by a quesadilla and states that its the best she ever had.
