Called for reservation for 5. Was seated,placemats & menus brought to us then forgotten! 2 different waitresses looked right at us and went to other tables that came in AFTER us. Yes, they were busy for a Friday night, but not too busy for them to chit chat with other diners they obviously knew since they were asking "how the baby was doing" and then said "they should get back to work. We waited about 25 -30 minutes and still no one came to take our orders or even our drink orders. As we were leaving, someone finally acknowledged us by saying "we were just coming to your table". We went to have their chicken and biscuits to benefit the SPCA. None of us have ever been there before and now we can't wait to go back. The food was spectacular, you could tell the food was homemade. Even my picky 8 year old ate her food. The service was great and the atmosphere was homey. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a new place to eat or looking for homemade food made right. P.S. Our appetizers were good, but over cooked.. My husband had Chicken Parm which he said tasted like the chicken had been reheated. I had Shrimp Scampi. A heaping plate of dry noodles and 5 nice sized shrimp, however, 1 of my shrimp was not cooked all the way. When I asked for parmesan cheese I was given an almost empty container of low fat Kraft.
