This was not my first experience at Hammerdown, I always loved going there, but this experience was very different than what I usually got. It was so cold in there, my feet were numb, we had to put our jackets back on and the food cooled down way to fast. I ordered an old fashioned, that I thought was a bit more expensive than other places, at $9.50, and they were out of mushrooms so I didn't get anything in my drink. I love this place!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I went here as a kid for cheese curds and have come back many times since then. Family friendly during reasonable times and the best friendly service you could ask for. North woods atmosphere and yet modern, clean, affordable and comfortable any time of day. Make a friend or just stop by for the best food to go! Ordered Pizza & Pizza fries for Christmas Eve dinner with my parents. Was disappointed that they weren't cooking their broasted chicken. We ended up ordering pizza & pizza fries. Very good, very fast service. Friendly bartender offering myself a drink while I waited another 5 minutes apologizing for the wait, np it was extremely busy for Christmas Eve early afternoon. Pizza's ready in less than 5 minutes. Very reasonably priced for the 16"!! Delicious pizza, pizza fries w/ sauce!!!...
