We stopped in the first time on a whim for breakfast and they did not disappoint! Not only was our food hot and delicious, their restaurant is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen! It’s obvious they have a regular cleaning regimen and not just a general surface cleaning. Not a speck dust on the floor trim or on any of the wall art (some for sale by local artist). This small, local restaurant recently came under new management and it has made all the difference. The food here is home cooked and always served hot and fresh. Seating is first come, first serve and often fills up fast. My husband is a big fan of the Dam Special, a classic breakfast combination, and I'm always alternating between the Eggs Benedict and Biscuits and Gravy. All very good and great comfort food! I asked for the Canadian bacon in the Eggs Benedict to be replaced by regular bacon and she said it would be 3.00 extra! For one piece of bacon cut in half on an English muffin! I told her to just give me the regular then. And it was not even Canadian bacon, it was just lunchmeat ham slices on the Eggs Benedict!
