Weatherwood Supper Club — Restaurant in Town of Mountain

We drove by at 3:45 pm and were stunned to see cars already in the parking lot. (They don't open until 4:30). We turned around to wait it out. The line to get in began forming at about 3:50 at both doors. After a 45 minutes wait to get in, more waiting was in store. Despite the fact we got in line prior to opening, we were the cut off. Everyone ahead of us that wished to, was seated right away. We put our name on the list and were advised it would "an hour". There was no seating at the bar or at any of the tables (all filled). We decided to try and get a drink and then scout for a place to sit. After about 15 minutes, we finally got to order drinks because one of the regulars flagged down a bartender after us literally breathing down his neck while patiently waiting. Looking around and still seeing no place to sit, We "borrowed" a stool from a nearby table and sat on the fireplace. Given the seating situation and the previous extended wait, we decided we'd just wait until we were at the table for refills. Bad idea! Throughout our wait, the noise level in the bar was extreme. We expect noise, but between the din of the customers and then the music, it just wasn't something we enjoyed. After an hour and 20 minutes we were seated. When we got to the table, we assumed the waitress would come over to take our drink order since we didn't have any glasses. Nope! After 10 minutes we made our way to the salad bar thinking surely she'd come when we sat back down. Nope again! After we finished our salads, she ran by, dropping the bread on the table. No conversation with us. Good thing there was a pitcher of water on the table. Our order had been taken while we were waiting for our table. Our food comes out and again, it's dropped on the table with no ask for drinks, and no offer to fill the now half gone water pitcher. I finally had enough and flagged her down. She comes to the table and I ordered a soda. She has to finish chewing first and then says "I'm sorry, I had to finish eating the pretzels I've been eating in the back." No kidding! You sure weren't working the floor. When she brought the soda, she asked how it was and we asked for the bill and to go boxes. We didn't know when or if we'd see her again. The food itself was ok. The prime rib and ribeye were cooked as requested. The ribeye and baked potato were served a little cold. I opted not to say anything as by this point, we both just wanted to eat and go. If you don't mind waiting, standing, and not drinking then you likely will have a better experience than us. The service all in all left a lot to be desired. Stood by the sign that said "wait to be seated" Staff approached and said to us, "we don't take walk-ins". I asked if they take reservations. She said no. So how do we get to eat? The place was packed. They open at 4:30. It was 5pm and no one was seated in the dining room. She tells us that there r big groups ahead of us that have to be seated first. Get a drink and stand at the bar. One hour wait. We were there previously years ago. Don't remember it being all that great cuz we obviously didn't go back. My family and I all went to eat here for dinner we all ordered different steak dinners all ordered our steaks medium all came out brown/over cooked one was a tenderloin which was literally a poor cut of meat folded in half. Told the waitress, left a note on the reciept with my number to call if they had any questions because they never grabbed the owner or manager after we complained. They called and right away started being condescending and rude and didn't want to take criticism or notes and just started argueing with me.
