Roo's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Namakagon

We had a great experience tonight at Roos. Around here it can be tough to find good service and with the two guys on staff tonight at Roos service was 10/10! They were friendly and working so hard to make sure everyone had what they needed. We had cheese curds, the grilled chicken sandwich, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and California burger - each with a different side and everything was really good. They even had a nice white wine! We will be making this a regular spot for our family! They had a highchair as well and it was nice and clean (always a good sign!) We stopped in for their Inaugural Fish Fry tonight and had a great meal!! The cod was tasty and freshly fried to order. I got a huge portion of crispy French fries and hubby had delicious onion rings. Food came with sides (potato salad or coleslaw) and toast besides. We love their burgers as well! The place is spacious and spotless with Up North hunting and fishing artifacts and decor. You can play pool or the usual bar games. Our server was prompt and friendly. We stopped at Roos for Friday night Fish. The coleslaw was outstanding (10/10), onion rings were delicious (9.5/10), the beer was served cold, the fish was good but not spectacular (7/10), the service was great (10/10), so friendly.
