I am a wedding planner, so naturally, I deal with a lot of caterers. I first tasted, Jaime at Neversink General Stores, food in 2018.. although there were logistical issues with them then, the food was so good, I wanted it for my wedding. A whole year later, I got engaged and started to plan. I thought a year later that the logistical issues would be figured out by then so I gave them a shot. Although again, the food was amazing, Jaime and Neversink General Store did figure out their logistics. They tried getting me to pay for them to come back and pick up their rentals, on THE DAY OF MY WEDDING, never saying anything before that, forgot food, rude delivery people, dirty tablecloths, and more. When I spoke to Jaime he assured he wanted me to be happy, as the bride, and let me know he would send a check for some money back per person. That was 3 months ago. I have emailed him countless times, he has stopped responding. If he would've sent the money (which wasn't about the money, it was the principle of the matter) i would've tried using him again on a private party, but now I won't and I will not recommend him to any of my couples in the future. It is completely unprofessional to tell someone, who paid you 4 GRAND to, that you are going to do something, and then not even have the decency to email them back .This place could be great, because again, their food is so good, but save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere where the food is good AND they honor what they say they're going to do.

   Read moreI've been coming here for years. The food used to be better. There are two people there that have good attitudes, and the rest just make you want to walk out and never return. Whoever they have taking orders is straight up nasty. They have one guy who ignores you the entire time you're standing there. The head guy there Jamie is cool. There's one guy that does the checkout, he's got a great attitude and is always pleasant when he's there. The rest are all poisoned by their hair dye and the metal they have implanted in their faces. One of them made my 80 year old father walk back and forth from the gas pump to the store 5 times because she didn't want to be bothered taking the card when he came in after the pumps card reader failed. Straight up, nasty people working there now.
You'll all see this and laugh and not care, till you lose your jobs and you're begging someone else for one. I hope you fall on bad times. I won't be going there ever again. You want gas? Go to liberty, the gas is cheaper. Monticello by Walmart, it's .30 cents cheaper. Want pizza? Liberty or Monticello, too. Same with sandwiches.
EDIT I write only bad reviews so people like you can fix what's wrong. I noticed all your reviews are bots. Maybe listen to a real person who exists instead of your paid for reviews. Your pumps are trash and have NEVER worked. I always have to go inside and pay there. Blaming the customers for your faulty equipment seems about on par with the attitudes given at your shop. I'll be showing my work soon enough in photos. As for the dye. Seems once you started hiring the bottom of the barrel crew, your place got worse. Pretty on the outside, garbage...
   Read moreStopped in for gas. The pumps appear to take credit cards but do not. Went in to pay cash and found two others waiting while the clerk was busy with taking a phone order. Very long wait finally filled up only to have the handle leak all over me and my vehicle. The regular customer waiting with me said he only uses the place when he has too. Mark - I had tried multiple pumps and so had my friends. None took our cards. Gas leaking from the handle is beyond a maintenance or parts issue. Blaming the employees for our group wait misses the point. Employees in the kitchen area that were busy talking could have been trained to help. Alternatively they might have been assigned taking phone orders. Please do not misunderstand my intentions. I want your customers to be happy and more of them to find and support your business.
