Van’s Redneck Saloon — Restaurant in Town of New Chester

Food was amazing! Enjoyed all the food I tried! Met 2 kitchen staff and they were so kind! There was this bartender on Friday, my first time ever at this bar I was with my fiancé and his papa who are regulars we were sitting at the bar and there were about 5 other seats opened and the bartender didn’t even say hi to all of us just instantly said “uh no you guys can’t be here your not of age go sit in the other room or leave” we were going to order food, we’re both 19 and his papa was drinking She was so rude. We went back today (Saturday) and she was a waitress today and she was absolutely horrible. The table next to us probably got there 5 minutes before us and she went to take their order, sat down at the table next to them to take their order. When they were taking to long to order she goes “let’s go guys you had plenty of time to think abt what you want” they ordered and it was 3 large pizzas, she then announced to the entire dinning room “it’s going to be abt a 45 min wait for everyone bcs I have 3 large pizzas for 1 order” and there was so mean telling people to come to the bar to ask for stuff if they need something. I think after ten years of coming to the Redneck I am finally done. The guy behind the bar will ignore you while you try to get his attention as your takeout food sits there getting cold. No sense of urgency.

The waitress is always stressed to the max even if the place is empty! I don’t get it. I could run circles around her with one arm tied behind my back!! The dining room is TINY and they have a very limited menu. It’s not rocket science.

Once I had my children here and it took so long for the food they both fell asleep at the table and did she apologize or even offer an excuse? Nope. I should have learned then.

Food is good but nobody wants to go to a place where the staff is either Keystone cops or...

Awesome "back road boogie" pub. Service is always great. Food is well prepared and of the plenty. I was higher than a birds dick and couldn't even finish a double cheese burger and fries. Common domestic and a few import beers and the typical but not fancy liquor for a good clinker. Plenty of seating at the bar and tables. Gambling too if that's your thing. Don't pass...
