Wooden Nickel Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of New Chester

I use to order from there a lot but within the last year things have just not gone well. Multiple times I have gone in there to pick up food and either they have forgotten food items, given me the wrong items or on at least 3 different occasions I have gone to pick up food after 20 to 30 minutes of waiting only to be told that they forgot to start my food and I would have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes. Today I went in to pick up food and they promised me everything was there and correct. I went home to find i was missing a burger. I went back to ask them about it and they said they only heard me say one burger. They offered to make it but I said forget. I went home to look at my food further and found they also gave me the wrong side. This is easily the 6th or 7th time they've messed up. I doubt we'll order from them again sadly. My parents own a vacation property up in Westfield and this is our go-to for good food and a good time. I remember it when it was a dive, but now it's turned into a great place with the new owners and has remained a great place for probably 10 years now. If you are around stop in for their pizza, it's great. Every time we are up there we get some. Tracy and her family are great people. I can go years without seeing her and she still remembers us. Nothing like some small town courtesy.

We were just there the other day passing through town and they got new barstools. We just spent over 5 hours breaking down a camper and partially setting it back in a new location, including driving in crazy traffic. I literally could have taken a nap in those things. Update: So we drove there to get the pizza this time. And it was pretty good. The place was what you would expect in a small town. Lots of friendly locals, a friendly bartender, and good service.

We ordered the 16 inch deluxe. It was huge and relatively inexpensive. The toppings were high quality compared to some place we have gone. We will probably stop back to order.

Heard the pizza was good here so I tried to call and order one. I told the person that answered that I would like to place an order. He said OK hold on a minute and put the phone down. After 8 minutes of listening to him check out a customer, discussion tequila and shots, and some other discussion, I finally hung up.
