This place is like going back in time to the 70's. . in a good way. This supper club is in the middle of several fields next to nothing with neon trimming on a large old home. There were regulars that come every week who we ended up drinking with and a bachelor party that took up a third of the restaurant and some tourists from Chicago (that was us!) and everyone had a wonderful time talking, eating a drinking. It was how bars use to be like, lot's of laughs and people being real. The food is basic and plentiful. The prime rib was outstanding and their homemade dressing excellent. The drinks were cheap and satisfying and the prices were excellent for the quality and quantity you received and servers could have been that Aunt you really like but don't see often. If down home American fare is what you are looking for then this is the place. No hype, nothing fancy just down home stick-to-your- ribs darn good eats. Oh! If you are using google maps don't freak when the directions stop at a corn field. It's just an eight of a mile farther down the road on your right if you are coming...

Half the building is a bar with bartenders that can really pour a drink, not just pull a tap. The restaurant half is comfortable. You can sit and have a conversation with your table mates without having to shout, even when crowded, because they haven't forgotten about noise control. They haven't created an echo chamber with hardwood floors, walls and ceiling. My wife had the lasagna special and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. I didn't taste it, but it looked and smelled great. I had the fried cod, which I really enjoyed. It was perfectly prepared, as expected. It's Wisconsin. They know how to fry fish in Wisconsin. Portions were generous and prices appropriate. The staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The menu is available on line. I would recommend this...
Read moreWhile visiting the Wis Dells, my wife wanted to do a Supper Club. Ishnala had a 3hr wait, so went looking, discovered this place.. Doesn't look like much on the outside, and the interior is dated.. Sign of a Real Wisconsin Supper Club The bar is a nice big bar, someone loaded up the Touch Tunes with some great songs from the 70's, early 80's.. the drinks were good, no tap beer, Just bottle beer. but the beer is cold! The dining room is nice size, and service was very good.. I had the 16 ounce Prime Rib... and it wasn't medium rare like I requested, more like medium and flavor? that was the blandest piece of meat I have ever ate.. I should have requested ketchup so it would have some flavor.. maybe that's the way they like it there? the bake potato had more flavor.. Not a place I'd get another chunk of Prime Rib at. my wife liked her ribeye... Can't say I'd go back.. but it was worth...
