Dilly’s 7 Corners — Restaurant in Town of New Holstein

Went here for a darts league game and was pleasantly surprised at just how much fun I had. Even left knowing a couple of the staff! Derrick the cook did an amazing job i ordered a bunch of appetizers instead of a actual meal due to somebody else ordering a pizza to share. ALL of it was very good and get this THEY HAVE WONTON WRAPPED MOZZARELLA STICKS!!!! that in itself shows the pride they take in their food instead of serving the usual bar mozzarella sticks. Adam the bartender is a absolute rock star! The place was packed and I don't think I waited more than a minute for a refill of my beer... neither did anyone else in the bar. Yvonne the lady who makes the soups for this bar is a magician I got the chance to sample her lasagna soup! and just WOW! I've been told her cheesy broccoli soup is the best anyone has ever tasted. Went there for the fish fry for the first time. We ordered two shrimp dinners at 6:15. By 7:10 we had not received our food, so I asked the bartender if she could find out what was going on and how much longer it would be. She came back, first, with info on the wrong order, then I gave her our order which when then said it would be ANOTHER 15 minute wait! That is UNACCEPTABLE!! We would then have waited an hour and 10 minutes for shrimp. NO PLACE IS THAT GOOD! We will NEVER go back. Not even for drinks. They really need to get their stuff together, as we saw the owner chit chatting with his buddies instead of helping out. Maybe if he were to help, we would have gotten some food. There is no excuse for this blatant disregard for customers. The server should have AT LEAST come out and informed us, or told us about the wait...

Going on hour 6 of sickness after eating a burger from there. Pretty sure that was the worst burger i’ve ever had. The food took forever to come out, there was literally no service and when the “waitress” brought it out she practically dropped the plates on the table and ran. Made a face when i asked for a water. I’d have likely said something about it, but i really didnt want to wait another hour for a replacement meal nor did i want to deal with that sort of confrontation...i didnt get the impression they’d deal with a poor critique well and looking at other google reviews that assessment was correct. I have never had a good experience with the staff/service here. I’ve given the bar about 4 chances and the grill 2.
