Needed some breakfast, found this place in Cornwall since my regular place lost their power...sorry just found a gem...a simple cute place that serves great food , with large portions and an excellent staff. I went with the Vermonster omelet- farm eggs with turkey, bacon , cheddar and carmelized onions along with home fries and toast. The food came out quickly and was hot. A beautiful sized omelet that tasted as delicious as it looked. I would recommend this place if you are on the Cornwall area and need a breakfast spot....you wont be disappointed.....

There truly is no better place for breakfast & lunch than Fiddlestix! Long lines are the norm, especially on the weekends, but that should comfort you in knowing you made the right choice for your dining pleasure! Making great food is not easy. Making great food CONSISTENTLY is even harder and therefore the cornerstone of an outstanding restaurant! And the crew @ Fiddlestix do this passionately, day in & day out for breakfast and lunch! Take the family - I promise everyone will leave happy and pleasantly full!

Nice small place in the heart of Corwall on Main st. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially pointing out the portion sizes are rather large. The pancakes were great and a bargain for what they charge and could easily be shared for what you get. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table but it was worth it, seating can be cramped around the bar. If you’re in the area don’t pass up this place the food is that good.

Rude, mismanaged, no customer service etiquette, needs A/C. Not one person smiled in that place the whole time we were there! Walked out. We sat for 35 minutes waiting to have our order taken. Only 4 tables were sat when we walked in, there were 2 waitresses, 1 cook and a dish person in the back. I saw food come out once in that half hour. There are about 12 tables. You do the math! At one point they rudely told us they wouldn't take our order until they took out another big order. It was another 5 minutes before the cook even started plating it. And it was a table of 5. That is normal, not "big". I should have known to leave at that point. They still ignored us. Then the waitress snapped at the other one when we got up to go and she tried to say she could take our order. Blonde braids was SO rude! Tried to tell me, not apologize, but somehow school me on how the food is made to order and they only have one cook. Like that is supposed to make a difference? Is that my fault as the customer? Its a restaurant, Help the cook! Don't just stand around and 'school' the customer. I nicely suggested that in the future they let the customer know when they sit down that there is a long wait. I mean, that is common restaurant etiquette, is it not? No, I was once again schooled on how everything is made to order - never once an apology, even a smile, or anything. Want...

🥴 Not sure where to begin here. The folks who work here are very nice, but that’s the only real positive here. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated pretty quickly. Unfortunately, the service and actually getting your food is a very slow process. Everyone at my table had overcooked or burnt food. For example, I got the corned beef hash with over easy eggs. My eggs were closer to being over-hard (partially cooked centers) and the hash was so burned in the bottom it tasted like gristle. You want hash to be a bit crispy but this was actually blackened. Even my home fries were burnt. I’m not talking about crispy- they were black and tasted burnt. My friend got pancakes and they were left a little too long on the griddle that even when using a knife, they were hard to cut up. Since it was busy and we’d already waited 30 min for our food, I definitely didn’t want to ask for a remake.

Overall it seems they are just trying to do too much with too little staff, despite good intentions. They need to eliminate some tables so the customers sitting are getting quality food + service. I think it being under new ownership might be the difficultly. Sadly, when in the area I won’t...

If the food was interesting I would not know. I went in there today with my 86 yr old grandmother who walks with a cane and my child. I walked in right after two young ladies who were given menus and seated right away. We stood there waiting. Finally we walked over to a table to sit down and a waiter runs up to us uy tells us grills closed. What? People were just being given menus... we walk out and I see as we are walking out a guy sits at the outside table and placess an order with a waiter. It was very weird and super rude. I never could understand why someone would treat people like this. I would never treat people like that. My poor grandma could hardly walk....but she made her way in to enjoy lunch out with her grand daughter and great grand daughter. What an inhumane thing to do. The place is run by young boys. The chefs from behind are also young and look like theyd rather be tripping on acid at a phish show then being professional and welcoming patrons. They should be...
