The Golden Rail Ale House — Restaurant in Town of Newburgh

A friend recommended me this place. This place is definately in the cut, and not usally a place I would go to. I was told the wings are very good here, so I had to try it out for myself since I was in the area. They are not the best wings, but they are good. I recommend going through Happy Hour when the drinks, and wings are cheaper. Not a beer drinker, but because they are an Ale House, I did try the Juice Bomb Sloop. They sell alot of IPA beers which is stronger with a higher alchohol content than a regular beer. When I went on a Monday, they were on had the deep fryer open to serve wings only. I wasn't able to sample other food items. Monday's are typically slow. My favorite is the Cucumber Wasabi dipping wings. You can actually taste the cucumber in the dipping sauce. I loved it. So sadly I went to join karaoke night on Wednesday with some friends when he was walking out as I was pulling in stating we can’t go in there. I asked why, he says that shortly after 2 other friends arrived the bartender utters “ we are no longer serving you, you have to leave “. He asks why?? He says “it doesn’t matter you have to leave”. They have a variety drinks which is nice. Along with food, an atm machine, a pool table, darts, and an arcade golf game to play too. However on the flipside they take cash only no cards, limited seating available, especially the 2 booths on the right when you enter are uncomfortable to sit at with shakey tables.
