The Country Bar — Restaurant in Town of Niagra

Atmosphere leaves much to be desired because of the “constant” slinging of the empty beer bottles into trash that was disturbingly LOUD! Glad I had Tylenol as brought on a headache. Plus, could barely visit with our dinner guests because if the nasty overly loud atmosphere. All the waitresses & bartenders were extremely rude. Had to wait 2 hours for our food. I don’t go to a restaurant, ready to eat, to have to wait 2 hours for my food. Plus, waitress would not bother to return to refill our drink orders as we waited for our 2 hours! We were the first party to be seated and all the 5 or 6 groups that came in after us were waited on first!!!!! Some even finished their meals prior to us receiving ours!!!! Hope you like climbing up on high bar stool chairs to sit & eat. There was not one regulation height table or chair in the entire place. The food was very good and reasonably priced but by the time we got our food, my frame of mind was not going to allow me to enjoy it as much as I could have because of the 2 hours of frustration. And, I believe it is against code to allow your guests to sit 2 feet from the door to smoke. Haven’t seen that happen at a restaurant for many years! It was a very crummy restaurant experience. Worst I have had in about 25 years. They were very unorganized and with the rudeness presented to us made for a very difficult experience. NO; would definitely not recommend going to this...

Nice place. We went on a Saturday afternoon and had the cheese curds and a pizza. Lots of tvs on and a nice view of trees out many back windows. Very friendly atmosphere. I love the cabin look.
