I have only made my way here once before and it was later so I didn't have much to note, we actually made it during the day this time and wow!!! It's so beautiful there for one, right next to the water and the Northwoods passage. For two ,There was so many choices for ice cream I was almost overwhelmed but the girl that served me actually helped me choose in a way I didn't feel like I missed out and my goodness are the scoops generous!!! I got firecracker which is a special around for the holidays (like the 4th) it was strawberry ice cream with pop rocks and it was AMAZING. I won't lie I'm usually a person who sticks to my same flavors ( I was stuck between this one and my regular cotton candy ) but I'm so glad I was encouraged to try this flavor!! I look forward to going back and trying the many other flavors. We ate outside next to the beautiful gazebo and right away I noticed how clean the tables were and as we were eating they were cleaning up tables as people left. I liked the ice cream here so much that I went 3 times in 5 Days. Every Flavor I tried was delicious. Be forewarned though they do not give free samples and there is a sign that says so. It states they are trying to help as many customers through as possible. I can now understand why after being there three times there is always a small line. At least you can see the flavors through the glass counters. What they make up for with no free samples is a giant scoop of ice cream. Or enjoy the ambience of the circling Windmill outside, under the pines, or the little white gazebo. They also have a boat dock for families and fishermen to come for a treat.
