Decided to have a Sunday Funday and visit the Ohio. Best decision I could have made! Started off with a mild Bloody Mary which was EXACTLY what my body needed. Couldn’t decide on food, so my friend and I split a couple things. We got the Bang Bang Cauliflower and Pork Potstickers as apps. I see the Cubinski posted all the time and I decided it was time to try it. AMAZING. My friend got the 1/2 chicken and biscuits. The food is incredible and so are the portions! The bartender was fun, kind, and very attentive. Thank you for making my Sunday!!

My gf and I had rented a cabin close by so we could visit family in the area while enjoying the beautiful Adirondacks. This place being close by was great. Probably ate dinner here three times during our stay. The Tavern Burger is amazing. Onion Petals are great as well. But their specials are where it’s at, great creativity and certainly more than you’d expect from a tavern in the woods. Haha. We’ll be back no doubt. I’d love to see draught lines here at some point.

Friendly, local, no beers on tap but that’s ok, delicious food, local menu. Portions are huge and delicious. Homemade blue cheese was really good. Could use some light background music. You feel like part of the family. Thanks for having us! Great service.

Wow! Great big portions of delicious food, especially the Friday fish fry and prime rib on the weekends. Satisfying meals are complimented with savory side dishes at prices that won't make you break open your piggy bank. The bar and restaurant staff is always friendly and helpful, and numerous customers return often to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere for dinners and a few drinks. Snowmobilers are welcome through the winter months, and we have had large family parties there again and again. Reservations are recommended in advance for those who wish to share in this great dining experience. Bring a big appetite, and you will probably leave with leftovers. Recent management of this hotel is the best since Reuters owned and operated it as the Hotel...

Where has anyone ever gone to a restaurant outside of Poland NY and paid $39.00 for a 16 oz NY Strip Steak? You got it! We did last night at ā€œThe Ohio Tavernā€. I have never in my entire life paid that much for a ā€œcertified angus steak.ā€ I could possibly understand if the sides were extravagant- but they were just french fries, 3 pieces of grilled 2ā€ zucchini and a small house salad. My advice to anyone who goes there for dinner- ASK what the price is before placing your order off of theIr menu that reads ā€œmarket value.ā€ I spoke to the owner and he justified the price by saying it’s certified angus meat and could run anywhere from $8-$11 a lb. we will never go...
