Pine Lake Lodge — Restaurant in Town of Oma

We were there 11:45am for lunch with a group of 7 mid October 2025. There was one waitress, Linda I think, and a cook. I called ahead to make sure they were open (northwoods in late fall) and told them we had a group of 7 SXS riding there shortly. We got there and a table was all prepped for us. As we sat we watched group after group roll in. We were in and out in an hour, and we could have left sooner if we wanted to, but the views there keep ya seated. Linda kept drinks full and hustled around the busy place tending bar and serving. A true champion of great service. The homemade onion rings had our table singing sweet glory to the cook. The calamari was also very good. We had the crab cakes as well and those were amazing! I had the Boom Boom Chicken sandwich special. Everything felt like a scratch kitchen, we had a tremendously tasty meal. It was hot and came out quick. This place was exceptionally high functioning, friendly, and absolutely smashed out expectations into the stratosphere. Cannot wait...

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience, we got the special T-Bone, it was AWFUL, the meat was mushy, asked for med it was well done, our other steak was the same but super salty, waitress NEVER came to ask us if we needed anythinf,anything, was the steak, or the cooking it, we had to ask for the bill, then told her about ours tears, she did apologize but that was it. At least could of discounted bill since all we ate was the baked potato and the onion rings, we had 2 notes of our steak and left the rest. No, they were not busy either. So disappointed Ive heard so many great things about this place then finally have the chance to go and try it out to wind up having such a disappointing dining...

Went for Wednesday burger day special. Service was terrible. Bartender was rude. Drink order was incorrect. I ordered food for my wife and I and she served my wife food but gave me nothing.. Said I did not order anything. Eventually, she got my food and presented it to me in a take-out box. Then she charged me $2 for an extra plate even though I never got a plate. What!

So she screwed up the drink order AND the food oder and blamed everything on me. Kicked us out of the bar. Really?

I think they cater to locals but hate "outsiders" like us. Bartenders name is Miranda. Avoid her.
